M.Si.)
Klorofil-a merupakan faktor penting yang dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator kesuburan
suatu perairan. Penentuan wilayah yang subur di perairan dapat diketahui berdasarkan
konsentrasi dari klorofil-a baik secara spasial maupun temporal. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi kandungan klorofil-a di perairan pantai
Pekalongan-Kendal menggunakan citra sentinel 3 OLCI. Penelitian in menggunakan
data citra Sentinel-3 OLCI yang diolah menggunakan software SNAP dengan metode
C2RCC. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa klorofil-a memiliki nilai yang
bervariasi disetiap bulannya. Nilai konsentrasi klorofil tertinggi pada tahun 2021 di
Perairan Pekalongan-Kendal terjadi pada bulan Juli sebesar 3,22 mg/m
3
dan terendah
pada bulan November sebesar 1,87 mg/m
3
. Nilai konsentrasi klorofil-a memiliki
korelasi positif terhadap arus dan angin, dengan koefisien korelasi berturut-turut
sebesar 0.464 dan 0.453. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwa tingginya konsentrasi klorofil-a
akan diikuti dengan naiknya kecepatan arus dan angin, dan sebaliknya ketika
konsentrasi klorofil-a rendah maka nilai kecepatan arus dan angin juga ikut menurun.

Chlorophyll-a is an important factor that can be used as an indicator of the
fertility of a water. Determination of fertile areas in the waters can be determined
based on the concentration of chlorophyll-a both spatially and temporally. This study
aims to determine the distribution of chlorophyll-a content in the coastal waters of
Pekalongan-Kendal using sentinel 3 OLCI imagery. This study used Sentinel-3 OLCI
image data which was processed using SNAP software with the C2RCC method. Based
on the results of the study it was found that chlorophyll-a has a value that varies every
month.The high chlorophyll concentration value in 2021 in Pekalongan-Kendal Waters
occurred in July at 3.22 mg/m3 and the lowest was in November at 1.87 mg/m3. The
value of chlorophyll-a concentration has a positive correlation with currents and wind,
with a correlation coefficient of 0.464 and 0.453, respectively. This explains that a high
concentration of chlorophyll-a will be followed by an increase in current and wind
speed, and conversely, when the concentration of chlorophyll-a is low, the value of
current and wind speed will also decrease.
