Abstract

ABSTRACT
Development is a benchmark for the development of an area because the
effect of development is quite large on regional development such as the
development of residential and industrial areas of BSB City on land use in Mijen
District. This study aims to determine the changes in land use in Mijen District
before and before the development of BSB City in 1999, 2015, and 2020, the
results of the effect of the residential and industrial areas of BSB City on the
pattern of land use development in Mijen District and to know the development of
housing and industrial areas. BSB City industry based on the RTRW of Semarang
City in 2015 and 2020. With the method digitize on screen and spatial analysis
includes overlay intersect and average nearest neighbor. The results of the study
are in the form of an analysis before the development of BSB City in 1999, the
distribution of land use which is dominated by the permanent production forest
class of 3456,865 Ha, the agricultural class of food crops of 1048,447 Ha, after
the development of BSB city in 2015, land use the production forest class
remained reduced to 3330,483 Ha, the land use change and food crop class
decreased to 897,701 Ha, in 2015-2020 the largest increase in land use was in the
clustered housing class of 102,388 Ha or 1.903%, and the largest reduction in
area is in the permanent production forest class of 226,863 Ha or 4.216%., The
analysis of the effect of the development of residential and industrial areas of the
City BSB on the pattern of land use development is in 1999 the pattern is random,
in 2015 and 2020 the pattern are clustered, and in accordance with the
development of regional development BSB City housing and industry based on the
Spatial plan of Semarang City in 2011-2031, in 2015 it covered an area of
138,711 Ha or 87.168%, and in 2020 it is an area of 231,961 Ha or 84.445%.
While the area of development that is not in accordance with the Spatial plan of
Semarang City in 2011-2031 is 20,420 Ha or 12.832%, and in 2020 it will cover
an area of 42,729 Ha or 15.555%.
