Abstract

Adolescent phase is a transitional phase from children to adults, in this phase teenagers tend to spend time with peers, start looking for identity, and are dominated by emotional and instinctual reactions by doing brawls. The purpose of this study seeks to reveal the post-detention transformative experiences of juvenile brawlers. The research is conducted using purposive technique sampling, involving three subjects; male no older than 21 years of age, based in Jabodetabek and are convicts of brawling. We use quantitavive method with fenomenologist and Datas are obtained by semi-structured interviews which then analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Based on the results of the analysis of brawl behavior arises because of an identity crisis and low emotional control in adolescents, causing emotional reactions that are influenced by conformity, and impacting teenagers on the impact of brawling behavior that is self-defeating and creates feelings in the cell. Increased spirituality while in the cell, raises self-motivation to get up, and causes self-change. These three things result in positive achievements for juvenile brawlers.
