Abstract

The aim of this study is to find any risks that threatened the records of PT Pos Indonesia (Regional Area VI) Semarang employe, and in the meantime count the probability of those risks happen in hope to increase the company resource efficiency for employe records protection and preservation plan. This study is a quantitative research using survey approach, the sample used in the study is 20 respondent that divided by one head of public relation, one person in charge of managing employe records, and the rest is the employee of human resource division that understand the management of the company employe record. To count the probability of risks happen, Weighted-Average Approximation method is choosen because the record of risks that happened in this subject (employee records) is not exist. The risks indicator that used in this study is originated from Records Risk Assessment Tool that developed by Records Risk Assessment Tool that developed by Newcastle University, the risks indocator is environmental condition; human error, procedures and policy; room security; and the employe records storage room and its storage unit. The result of this study indicated that employe records is affected by the fluctuation of room humidity and temperature, insect, mold, and the risk of human error that caused in accidentally destroying the employe records. By interpreting the calculated result of probability using Weighted-Average Approximation method, we can conclude that the number one priority that need to be immediately dealt is the risk of fluctuation humidity and room temperature, insect, mold, and records storage unit that damaged.
Skripsi “Analisis Risiko pada Arsip Kepegawaian milik PT Pos Indonesia (Regional Area VI) Semarang”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui risiko apa saja yang mengancam arsip kepegawaian milik PT Pos Indonesia (Regional Area VI) Semarang serta menghitung kemungkinan terjadinya risiko tersebut sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi sumber daya Kantor Pos Regional VI dalam menjaga dan merawat arsip kepegawaian. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 20 responden yang terbagi menjadi 1 kepala divisi humas dan 1 penanggung jawab kearsipan arsip kepegawaian PT Pos Indonesia (Regional Area VI) Semarang, serta 18 pegawai divisi sumber daya manusia yang mengetahui kondisi arsip kepegawaian. Metode Weighted-Average Approximation digunakan untuk menghitung kemungkinan terjadinya kejadian risiko yang dapat merusak arsip kepegawaian. Indikator risiko yang dapat merusak arsip kepegawaian dipilih berdasarkan Records Risk Assessment Tool yang dikembangkan oleh New castle University yaitu faktor risiko kondisi lingkungan; kesalahan manusia, kebijakan dan prosedur; keamanan ruangan; serta ruangan dan unit penyimpanan arsip kepegawaian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arsip kepegawaian terdampak oleh fluktuasi suhu dan kelembaban ruangan, hama serangga, jamur, arsip yang tidak sengaja dihilangkan atau dirusak oleh pegawai serta unit penyimpanan yang rusak. Kemudian dari perhitungan kemungkinan risiko menggunakan metode Weighted-Average Approximation dapat disimpulkan bahwa risiko yang perlu di prioritaskan dalam perencanaan kegiatan preventif kerusakan arsip kepegawaian adalah unit risiko fluktuasi suhu dan kelembaban ruangan, hama serangga, jamur dan unit penyimpanan yang rusak untuk faktor risiko ruangan dan unit penyimpanan arsip karena memiliki tingkat kemungkinan terjadi sedang.
