Abstract

Biodiesel merupakan bahan bakar alternative untuk menggantikan solar yang dapat diperbaharui dan ramah lingkungan. Nilai kalori bahan bakar dipengaruhi oleh kadar biodiesel dalam campuran biodiesel dan solar. Semakin tinggi kandungan biodiesel dalam campuran, maka nilai kalorinya semakin rendah dan konsumsi energi spesifik bahan bakar semakin tinggi (semakin boros bahan bakar).
B15, B20 dan B30 telah digunakan untuk bahan bakar dumptruck operasi tambang batubara. Dengan jenis dumptruk dan jarak tempuh yang sama. dari hasil perhitungan menunjukkan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik B15 adalah 1,42 liter/ton batubara, konsumsi energi spesifik B20 meningkat menjadi 1,43 liter/ton batubara dan konsumsi energi spesifik B30 turun menjadi 1,42 liter/ton batubara. Penurunan ini terjadi karena dilakukannya implementasi program manajemen energi dengan menerapkan smart driving, yaitu mematikan mesin dumptruck pada saat tidak berjalan.
Penggunaan biodiesel memiliki pengaruh terhadap perawatan dumptruck. Semakin tinggi kandungan biodiesel dalam bahan bakar akan meningkatkan intensitas penggantian fuel filter

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel to replace diesel which is renewable and environmentally friendly. The calorific value of the fuel is influenced by the biodiesel content in the mixture of biodiesel and diesel. The higher the biodiesel content in the mixture, the lower the calorific value and the higher the specific energy consumption of the fuel (the more wasteful of fuel).
B15, B20 and B30 have been used to fuel dumptruck coal mining operations. With the same type of dump truck and mileage. the calculation results show that the specific fuel consumption of B15 is 1.42 liters/ton of coal, the specific energy consumption of B20 increases to 1.43 liters/ton of coal and the specific energy consumption of B30 decreases to 1.42 liters/ton of coal. This decrease occurred due to the implementation of an energy management program by implementing smart driving, which is turning off the dumptruck engine when it is not running.
The use of biodiesel has an effect on dumptruck maintenance. The higher the biodiesel content in the fuel will increase the intensity of replacing the fuel filter
