Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of relationship marketing to user satisfaction at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Diponegoro University Library. The purpose of this research is to know whether the influence of relationship marketing to the user satisfactionin the UPT library of Diponegoro University in an effort to fulfill the needs of information. The method used in this study is an expreslanative quantitative with a population of 40,900 with a sample of 105
respondents acquired using the purposive sampling method. Relationship
marketing examined in the study was calculated through simple linear regression analyses and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression results indicating that the relationship marketing was significantly influential The satisfaction of 0.000. The H0 rejection criterion is if a significant value of α is < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because it is obtained a significance value that is smaller than 0.05 i.e. 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between relationship marketing with the satisfaction of UPT of
Diponegoro University Library. Additionally the partial correlation (R) generated
is 0.693 so that it can be inferred if the relationship between relationship
marketing and satisfaction of the settlers is strong. The influence of relationship
marketing to user satisfaction amounted to 48.0%.
Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh relationship marketing terhadap kepuasan pemustaka di Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh relationship marketing terhadap kepuasan pemustaka di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro dalam upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanatif dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 40.900 dengan sampel sebanyak 105 responden yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Relationship marketing yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini dihitung melalui analisis regresi linier sederhana dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan hasil regresi linier sederhana yang menunjukkan bahwa relationship marketing berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka sebesar 0,000. Kriteria penolakan H0 adalah jika nilai signifikan α < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak karena diperoleh nilai signifikansi yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara relationship marketing dengan kepuasan pemustaka UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Diponegoro. Selain itu korelasi parsial (R) yang dihasilkan adalah 0,693 sehingga dapat disimpulkan jika hubungan antara relationship marketing dan kepuasan pemustaka adalah kuat. Pengaruh relationship marketing terhadap kepuasan pemustaka adalah sebesar 48,0%.
