Abstract

Dampak negatif terhadap kualitas airtanah, seperti pencemaran airtanah dan intrusi air asin terjadi akibat pengambilan airtanah yang tidak terkontrol. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengelolaan airtanah yang tepat untuk menjaga fungsi keberlanjutan airtanah. Salah satu upaya dalam pengelolaan airtanah adalah dengan penentuan indeks kerentanan airtanah terhadap pencemaran dan intrusi air asin serta penilaian kualitas airtanah. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengelolaan airtanah di suatu wilayah agar airtanah dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kota Banjarbaru dan sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan geospatial analisis untuk menentukan kerentanan pencemaran dengan metode DRASTIC indeks, kerentanan intrusi air asin dengan metode GALDIT indeks dan kualitas airtanah menggunakan WQI (Water Quality Index) dan SAR (Sodium Absorption Ratio). Hasil metode DRASTIC menunjukan daerah peneitian termasuk kedalam 3 indeks kerentanan, yaitu kerentanan rendah (95-120), kerentanan sedang (120-160), dan kerentanan tinggi (160-186). Hasil analisis GALDIT Index menunjukkan bahwa area studi terbagi menjadi 3 indeks kerentanan yaitu kerentanan rendah (2,8 - 5), kerentanan sedang (5 -7,5) dan kerentanan tinggi (7,5 - 9). Hasil analisis dengan WQI menunjukkan terdapat 60% airtanah dengan kualitas sangat baik yang masih dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai air minum dan 40% lainnya memiliki kualitas buruk hingga tidak layak minum. Sedangkan untuk keperluan irigasi menggunakan SAR, airtanah dilokasi penelitian sangat baik untuk irigasi. Pengelolaan airtanah harus dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan tingkat kerentanan airtanah terhadap pencemaran, intrusi air asin dan kualitas airtanah.

Uncontrolled groundwater extraction has negative effects on groundwater quality, such as contamination and saltwater intrusion. As a result, efficient groundwater management is essential. As a result, efficient groundwater management is required to ensure the long-term viability of groundwater. The determination of the vulnerability index of groundwater to contamination and saltwater intrusion, as well as the assessment of groundwater quality. This study can be used as a guide for groundwater management in a certain location, allowing groundwater to be used in a sustainable manner. The research will take place in Banjarbaru City and its environs. This study's method uses geospatial analysis to estimate pollution vulnerability using the DRASTIC index method, saltwater intrusion vulnerability using the GALDIT index method, and groundwater quality using the WQI (Water Quality Index) and SAR (Sodium Absorption Ratio) The DRASTIC method's results suggest that the study region devided into 3vulnerability indices: low vulnerability (95-120), mederate vulnerability (120-160), and high vulnerability (160-186). The GALDIT Index analysis revealed that the study region is classified into 3 vulnerability indices: low vulnerability (2.8 - 5), moderate vulnerability (5 -7.5), and high vulnerability (7,5 - 9). The results of the analysis using WQI show that there are 60% groundwater with very good quality that can still be used as drinking water and 40% is of poor quality so it is not suitable for drinking. Meanwhile, for irrigation purposes using SAR, groundwater at the research location is very good for irrigation. Groundwater management must be appropriate in accordance with its vulnerable to contamination and saltwater intrusion and quality of groundwater.
