Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Efektivitas Website Borobudurpedia sebagai Sarana Pencarian Informasi Situs Dunia Candi Borobudur” yang dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya website yang tersedia di mesin pencari banyak yang bukan website yang resmi dan terpercaya. Sedangkan website Borobudurpedia merupakan sebuah Website yang dibuat oleh Balai Konservasi Borobudur sebuah lembaga resmi yang memiliki wewenang dalan perawatan dan pengelolaan Candi Borobudur. Website Borobudurpedia sebagai wadah publikasi informasi mengenai Candi Borobudur secara luas dan lengkap kepada masyarakat.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang seberapa besar efektivitas website Borobudurpedia sebagai sarana pencarian informasi situs dunia Candi Borobudur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berupa metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah accidental sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 312 sampel yang merupakan pengguna dari website Borobudurpedia. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu efektivitas website Borobudurpedia sebagai sarana pencarian informasi situs dunia Candi Borobudur yang telah diukur dengan model difusi inovasi. Terdapat lima indikator yang diukur yaitu kesadaran, timbul minat dan pengetahuan, pembentukan perilaku, keputusan mencoba, dan penerimaan atau penolakan. Dari hasil pengukuran tersebut didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,74 yang masuk ke dalam kategori efektif. Kendala dalam penelitian ini adalah sulitnya dalam mencari responden karena tidak diketahui identitas yang jelas dari sampel tersebut.
This research is entitled “The Effectiveness of Borobudurpedia’s Website as a Information Seeking Tools in Borobudur Temple World Heritage” which is motivated by many untrusted and unofficial websites provide by search engines. While Borobudurpedia’s website is created by official institution named “Balai Konservasi Borobudur” that has authority in preserving and conservasing Borobudur Temple. Borobudurpedia’s website is a media for publication about any information related to Borobudur Temple that provide information comprehensively and widely. The aim of this research is to find out how effective is Borobudurpedia’s website as information seeking tools of Borobudur Temple World Heritage. This research is a quantitative study and having accidental sampling technique as sampling technique. There were 312 samples taken from users of Borobudurpedia’s website. The technique of collecting data of this study was questionnaire. Based on the result of this study, effectiveness of Borobudurpedia’s website website as a information seeking tools in Borobudur Temple world heritage has beeb measured using innovation diffusion model. There are five indicators, they are Awareness,. These measurement obtained average of effectiveness value 3,94 which categorized as effective. The obstacle in this research is having difficulty in finding respondents that using this Borobudurpedia’s website and unknown identity of respondent.
