Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembuatan profil perpustakaan menggunakan website POWTOON untuk memperkenalkan perpustakaan sekolah SMA Islam Hidayatullah Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjadikan website POWTOON sebagai salah satu sarana media untuk mempromosikan perpustakaan sekolah di SMA Islam Hidayatullah Semarang. Jenis dari penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode action research. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data. Tahap yang pertama dilakukan dimana peneliti melakukan perancangan video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah dengan mengumpulkan ide dan gagasan bersama dengan pustakawan. Setelah itu peneliti memulai ke tahap pembuatan video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah dengan patokan kepada ide dan gagasan yang telah didiskusikan bersama pustakawan. Setelah selesai dalam tahap pembuatan video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah peneliti menampilkan video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah kepada duapuluh siswa laki-laki didalam ruangan kelas. tahap terkhir peneliti melakukan wawancara secara acak sebanyak sepuluh orang kepada siswa yang berada dikelas dengan hasil dari wawancara ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengungkapkan penggunaan media POWTOON dalam kegiatan promosi perpustakaan dapat diterima oleh siswa SMA Islam Hidayatullah. Serta ada beberapa kritikan dan masukan dari hasil wawancara bersama pemustaka yang membuat peneliti mengambil kesimpulan bahwa video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah yang peneliti buat harus di revisi kembali sebelum video profil perpustakaan SMA Islam Hidayatullah dikasih kepada pustakawan sebagai media untuk promosi dan juga sebagai pedoman dalam pembuatan pembuatan video promosi melalui POWTOON.
This study discusses the making of a library profile using the POWTOON website to introduce the Islamic High School Hidayatullah Semarang school library. The purpose of this research is to make the POWTOON website one of the media tools to promote the school library at Hidayatullah Islamic High School Semarang. This type of research uses a qualitative approach to the action research method. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and data analysis. The first stage was carried out in which the researcher conducted the video profile design of Hidayatullah Islamic High School library by collecting ideas and ideas together with librarians. After that, researchers began the stage of making video profile of Hidayatullah Islamic High School library with reference to ideas and ideas that had been discussed with librarians. After completing the video making profile of the Hidayatullah Islamic High School library profile the researcher presented the video profile of the Hidayatullah Islamic High School library profile to the twenty male students in the final stage of the classroom. The researcher conducted random interviews of ten people to students in the class. students revealed the use of POWTOON media in library promotion activities could be accepted by Hidayatullah Islamic High School students. And there are some criticisms and input from the interview with the visitors which made the researchers conclude that the video profile of the Hidayatullah Islamic High School library that the researcher made must be revised before the video profile of the Hidayatullah Islamic High School library library was given to the librarian as a medium for promotion and also as a guideline in making making promotional videos through POWTOON.
