Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Analisis Strategi Akuisisi Arsip Perseorangan di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi akuisisi arsip perseorangan beserta kendala yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan tersebut di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan penelitian berjumlah 6 orang dengan penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dan analisis menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data mengacu pada strategi validitas triangulasi sumber. Dari hasil penulisan skripsi ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi akuisisi arsip statis perseorangan yang diterapkan di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah yaitu strategi penelusuran latar belakang tokoh pencipta arsip, strategi pendekatan kepada tokoh pencipta arsip, strategi pemfasilitasan proses administrasi arsip perseorangan, serta strategi pemberian imbal balik kepada tokoh pencipta arsip. Inti dari diterapkannya strategi akuisisi arsip perseorangan adalah guna memudahkan jalannya proses akuisisi. Pindahnya tempat tinggal tokoh menjadi masalah yang biasa terjadi dalam proses penelusuran tokoh. Upaya penyelamatan arsip statis dari tokoh agar informasi dan pengetahuan akan tokoh tersebut tidak hilang di masa yang akan datang. Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah terus berupaya dalam melakukan penyelamatan arsip tokoh daerah melalui Akuisisi Arsip Statis Perseorangan guna memperkaya khazanah kearsipan di Provinsi Jawa Tengah.
This thesis entitled “Personal Archives Acquisition Strategy Analysis (Case Study on Archives and Library Department of Central Java Province)”. The purpose of this research is to knowing how personal archives acquisition strategy works along with obstacles encountered in the Archives and Library Department of Central Java Province. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. The informant of this research amounted to 6 people with the determination of informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique in this research used observation, interview, and documentation study. Data processing and analysis using Miles and Huberman analysis model. Such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data validity test refers to source triangulation validity strategy. From the results of this thesis, concluded that the personal archives acquisition strategy that been implemented in Archives and Library Department of Central Java Province is background investigation strategy, closeness strategy, administration process facilities strategy, as well as feedback strategy. The core of implementing the personal archives acquisition strategy is to make easier the acquisition process. Moving to new house with no one know where is the common problem that happen in the investigating personal archives creator process. The efort of rescuing static archives from the owner so that the information and knowledge about its owner not missing in the future. The Archives and Library Department of Central Java Province straight forward to rescuing personal archives through personal archives acquisition in order to increase the archival treasure in Central Java Province.
