Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengalaman
informasi mahasiswa Undip yang tinggal di kawasan pesisir pada saat berinteraksi
dengan arsip elektronik KeSEMaT. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian
kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengambilan data yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mewawancarai informan dan
perekrutannya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, hasilnya didapatkan 8
informan yang bersedia untuk diwawancarai. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan
thematic analysis. Hasilnya adalah pengalaman informasi mahasiswa Undip yang
tinggal di kawasan pesisir sebagai sebagai pengguna sumber informasi dengan arsip
elektronik berupa postingan media sosial. Dalam penelitian ini mereka menunjukan
bahwa ada beberapa hal yang mereka perhatikan saat mahasiswa berinteraksi
dengan sumber informasi dari KeSEMaT, hal tersebut adalah dari sisi mahasiswa
memandang arsip elektronik sebagai sumber informasi, lalu penyajian informasi
dan pendekatan kampanye, kampanye yang dimaksud merupakan kampanye
tentang isu-isu mangrove. Adapun media sosial yang paling sering digunakan
adalah Instagram dan sumber informasi yang menggunakan format video lebih
disukai karena memberikan penjelasan yang komperhensif, kemudian mahasiswa
menggunakan arsip elektronik sebagai pratinjau sehingga mereka mampu
menyeleksi sesuai minat masing-masing, selain itu kampanye mangrove yang
dilakukan dari media sosial berhasil mempengaruhi mahasiswa dari segi gaya hidup
agar ramah lingkungan
The purpose of this research is to find out how the information experience of Undip
students living in coastal areas when interacting with KeSEMaT electronic
archives. This research is a type of qualitative research with phenomenological
approach. The data retrieval techniques used in this study were conducted by
interviewing informants and recruiting them using purposive sampling techniques,
the results of which were obtained by 8 informants who were willing to be
interviewed. The analysis of this study uses thematic analysis. The result is the
information experience of Undip students living in coastal areas as users of
information sources with electronic archives in the form of social media posts. In
this study they showed that there are some things that they notice when students
interact with the source of information from KeSEMaT, it is from the student side
looking at the electronic archive as a source of information, then the presentation
of information and approach of the campaign, the campaign in question is a
campaign on mangrove issues. The most commonly used social media is Instagram
and the source of information that uses the video format is preferred because it
provides a comprehensive explanation, then students use electronic archives as a
preview so that they are able to select according to their interests, in addition
mangrove campaigns conducted from social media successfully influence students
in terms of lifestyle to be environmentally friendly.
