Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan Podcast dan Instagram
oleh Komunitas Literatif sebagai media penyebaran informasi bidang perpustakaan.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan
pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian ini dalam proses pengambilan datanya
menggunakan metode observasi non partisipan dan wawancara semi terstruktur.
Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 partisipan yang dipilih dengan
menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah thematic analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa
Komunitas Literatif memiliki peran sebagai komunikator untuk menyebarkan
informasi bidang perpustakaan. Komunitas Literatif dalam melakukan penyebaran
informasi, menetapkan sasaran yaitu orang yang berkecimpung pada bidang
perpustakaan dan masyarakat umum. Selain penetapan sasaran, Komunitas Literatif
juga melakukan penyusunan pesan, dan pemilihan media. Media yang dipilih oleh
Komunitas Literatif adalah Podcast dan Instagram. Podcast dipilih karena belum
ada podcast mengenai bidang perpustakaan di Indonesia. Adapun Instagram dipilih
karena merupakan media populer untuk konten infografis. Informasi yang telah
disebarkan menimbulkan efek bagi sasaran yaitu berupa penambahan pengetahuan
mengenai bidang perpustakaan.
This study aims to explore the use of the Podcast and Instagram by the Literatif
Community as a medium for disseminating information in the library field. The
method used in this research is qualitative method with a phenomenological
approach. In this study, the data collection process used non-participant
observation methods and semi-structured interviews. There were 10 participants in
this study who were selected using purposive sampling. The analytical method used
in this study is thematic analysis. The analysis shows that the Literatif Community
has a role as a communicator to disseminate information in the library field.
Literatif Community in disseminating information, sets goals that are people who
are involved in the field of libraries and the general public. In addition to setting
targets, the Literatif Community also organizes messages and media selection.
Media chosen by the Literatif Community are Podcast and Instagram. Podcast have
been chosen because there are no podcasts about the field of libraries in Indonesia.
The Instagram has been chosen because it is a popular media for infographic
content. The information disseminated has an effect on the target in the form of
additional knowledge about the field of the library.
