Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Kemiskinan Informasi Tunanetra di Dewan Perwakilan Daerah
Pertuni (Persatuan Tunanetra Indonesia) Jawa Tengah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini
adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemiskinan informasi tunanetra di Dewan Perwakilan
Daerah Pertuni. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan
studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara,
studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ketua, Wakil
Ketua, Sekretaris, Bendahara, dan Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Pertuni Jawa
Tengah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Pertuni
Jawa Tengah mengalami kemiskinan informasi. Faktor kemiskinan informasi
disebabkan beberapa faktor yakni akses informasi, sosial ekonomi, infrastruktur
ekonomi, dan konteks informasi setiap individu.
This thesis is entitled Information Poverty is to Blind in Regional Representative
Council of Pertuni (Indonesian Blind Association) of Central Java. The purpose of
this study was to describe the poverty information is to Blind in the Pertuni Regional
Representative Council. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study
approach. The method of data collection is done by observation, interviews, literature
studies, and documentation. Informants in this study were the Chairperson, Deputy
Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Members of the Central Java Regional
Representative Council.. The results of this study indicated that the Central Java
Regional Representative Council experienced information poverty. Factors inhibiting
the fulfillment of information needs are caused by several factors, namely access to
information, socio-economic, economic infrastructure, and the context of information
for every individual
