Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan pada anak – anak di Indonesia. Stunting merupakan indikasi buruknya status gizi yang digunakan sebagai indikator jangka panjang untuk gizi kurang pada anak. Kekurangan gizi dapat mengakibatkan gangguan fungsi otak, sehingga hal ini akan berkaitan dengan perkembangan motorik anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh permainan origami terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak stunting (3-5 tahun) di Desa Gunung Batin Udik Kecamatan Terusan Nunyai Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Desai penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Non Randomized Kontrol Group Pretest Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah anak stunting usia 3 – 5 tahun, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen, masing–masing kelompok terdiri dari 30 responden. Variabel bebas yaitu permainan origami, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah skor motorik halus (meremas, melipat, menggunting, menggaris). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui kuisioner yang di isi pada saat pretest dan post test. Data penelitian dilakukan uji normalitas dan diuji menggunakan Mann Whitney. Halis penelitian menunjukan rerata usia responden adalah 3,53 tahun dan sebagian besar berjenis kelamin laki – laki. Terdapat pengaruh permainan origami dengan kemampuan meremas (p=0,016), menggunting (p=0,018), menggaris (p=0,034), namun tidak terdapat pengaruh permainan origami dengan kemampuan melipat (p=0,074). Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan permainan origami dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik halus pada anak stunting.

Stunting is still one of the problems for children in Indonesia. Stunting is an indication of poor nutritional status which is used as a long-term indicator of malnutrition in children. Malnutrition can lead to impaired brain function, so this will be related to children's motor development. The purpose of this study was to analyzed the effect of origami games on the fine motor development of stunting children (3-5 years) in Gunung Batin Udik Village, Terusan Niliki District, Central Lampung Regency. The research designed was a quasi-experimental design with non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were stunted children aged 3-5 years, which were divided into a control group and an experimental group, each group consisting of 30 respondents. The independent variable was the origami game, while the dependent variable were the fine motor score (squeezing, folding, cutting, drawing).The research data were obtained through questionnaires that were filled in at the pretest and posttest. The research data was tested for normality test and tested using the Mann Whitney. This research showed that the mean age of the respondents is 3.53 years and most of them were male. There is an effect of origami games with the ability to squeeze (p = 0.016), cut (p = 0.018), line (p = 0.034), but there is no effect of origami games on the ability to fold (p = 0.074). In this study, it can be concluded that origami games can improve fine motor development in stunting children.
