Abstract

Saat ini pembangunan sektor industri manufaktur menjadi prioritas utama dalam perkembangan ekonomi pada berbagai bidang. PT ICBP Cabang Surabaya merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang memiliki kapitalisasi pasar yang besar dan produk yang berkualitas. Proses pengolahan produk jadi melibatkan banyak aspek tidak hanya dalam segi ekonomi tetapi juga dalam segi energi. Energi adalah salah satu komponen terpenting dalam menunjang proses produksi yang ada di suatu perusahaan. Penggunaan energi pada penelitian ini adalah Boiler (Ketel Uap). Boiler sangat penting sebagai alat produksi uap untuk peralatan proses-proses produksi, melalui penghematan energi perencanaan proses yang lebih efisien dan ekonomis dapat dicapai. Dalam analisis boiler selain memperhatikan kapasitas perlu juga memperhatikan kinerja/efisiensi dan jumlah bahan bakar gas (m3) yang digunakan. Periode penelitian dilakukan mulai dari Februari 2020- Juli 2020. Hasil analisis boiler dilakukan metode langsung dengan rata-rata efisiensi sebesar 82,02% pada tahun 2019, dan 72,99% pada tahun 2020. Analisis metode tidak langsung dihasilkan efisiensi sebesar 79,30%. Intensitas penggunaan energi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,007 m3/pcs tahun 2019 dan 0,008 m3/pcs tahun 2020. Peluang penghematan yang dilakukan dengan mendesain dan memasang economizer serta memperbaiki sistem pembakaran dengan penambahan sensor gas. Efisiensi dapat meningkat sebesar 7,33% untuk pemasangan economizer dan 5,15% untuk perbaikan sistem pembakaran. Perbaikan ini berdampak juga terhadap penurunan biaya produksi sebesar 0,152% tahun 2019 dan 0,168% tahun 2020.

Currently the development of the manufacturing industry sector is a top priority in economic development in various fields. PT ICBP Surabaya Branch is one of the manufacturing companies that has a large market capitalization and quality products. The process of processing finished products involves many aspects not only in terms of economy but also in terms of energy. Energy is one of the most important components in supporting the production process in a company. The use of energy in this research is Boiler. Boilers are very important as a means of steam production for production process equipment, through energy savings a more efficient and economical process planning can be achieved. In boiler analysis, in addition to paying attention to capacity, it is also necessary to pay attention to performance/efficiency and the amount of gas fuel (m3) used. The research period was carried out starting from February 2020-July 2020. The results of the boiler analysis were carried out by the direct method with an average efficiency of 82.02% in 2019, and 72.99% in 2020. The indirect method analysis resulted in an efficiency of 79.30 %. The intensity of energy use produced is 0.007 m3/pcs in 2019 and 0.008 m3/pcs in 2020. Savings opportunities are made by designing and installing an economizer and improving the combustion system with the addition of a gas sensor. Efficiency can be increased by 7.33% for the installation of the economizer and 5.15% for the improvement of the combustion system. This improvement also resulted in a decrease in production costs by 0.152% in 2019 and 0.168% in 2020.
