Abstract

Penanganan kasus forensik digital mempunyai pengaruh besar bagi kepentingan publik. Nihilnya integritas akibat tidak adanya acuan kode etik pada proses kerja forensik digital bisa berakibat pada hilangnya kepercayaan terhadap hasil investigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat dokumen naskah akademik yang berisi framework forensik digital terkait pelanggaran etika di bidang forensic digital. Pelanggaran etika di bidang forensik digital dapat berdampak pada tingkat
kepercayaan publik terhadap penegak hukum dan praktisi di bidang forensik digital. Standar kerangka kerja untuk proses investigasi forensik digital telah dikembangkan oleh beberapa negara sesuai dengan kondisi di wilayahnya masingmasing. Kerangka kerja atau framework standar yang belum dimiliki Indonesia menjadi suatu gap yang perlu diperhatikan oleh akademisi maupun praktisi bidang forensik digital. Langkah strategis untuk mencapai tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan identifikasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan pengembangan framework forensik digital. Metode yang dapat digunakan pada pengembangan framework salah satunya adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode ini melibatkan sekelompok stakeholder dari kalangan praktisi dan akademisi. Luaran dari penelitian ini berupa dokumen akademik atau framework yang dapat digunakan praktisi di bidang forensik digital di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pembentukan framework baru berbasis Participatory Action Research bernama SUFREE (Supervisory Framework to Respect Ethics) berdasar konsensus dan kesepakatan multi pihak. Framework ini terdiri dari lima tahapan utama: identifikasi, preservasi, pemeriksaan, analisis, dan dokumentasi dengan validasi dan monitoring di setiap tahapannya. Evaluasi framework mendapatkan skor 76,25% dengan kategori efektif. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa framework SUFREE mampu memberikan evaluasi etika forensik digital secara objektif, terukur, dan selaras dengan ketentuan hukum di Indonesia.

The handling of digital forensic cases has a great influence on the public interest. The lack of integrity due to the absence of a code of ethics reference in the digital forensic work process can result in a loss of trust in the results of the investigation. This research aims to create an academic manuscript document containing a digital forensic framework related to ethical violations in the field of digital forensics. Ethical violations in the field of digital forensics can have an impact on the level of public trust in law enforcement and practitioners in the field of digital forensics. A standard framework for the digital forensic investigation process has been developed by several countries according to the conditions in their respective regions. The standard framework that Indonesia does not yet have is a gap that needs to be considered by academics and practitioners in the field of digital forensics. The strategic step to achieve the goals of this study is to identify, analyze, evaluate, and develop a digital forensic framework. One of the methods that can be used in the development of the framework is Participatory Action Research (PAR). This method involves a group of stakeholders from practitioners and academics. The output of this research is in the form of academic documents or frameworks that can be used by practitioners in the field of digital forensics in Indonesia. The result of this research is the formation of a new framework based on Participatory Action Research called SUFREE (Supervisory Framework to Respect Ethics) based on consensus and multi-stakeholder agreement. The framework consists of five main stages: identification, preservation, examination, analysis, and documentation with validation and monitoring at each stage. The evaluation of the framework received a score of 76.25% with the effective category. These findings show that the SUFREE framework is able to provide an objective, measurable, and consistent evaluation of digital forensic ethics in Indonesia.
