Abstract

Konsumsi energi pada sektor bangunan, khususnya gedung perkantoran, memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan emisi gas rumah kaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola konsumsi energi, menghitung besaran jejak karbon, serta mengevaluasi potensi penerapan program efisiensi energi pada Gedung Perkantoran Perusahaan Distribusi Migas Regional Jawa Bagian Tengah di Fuel Terminal Maos. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisis Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE), perhitungan emisi karbon dari konsumsi energi listrik menggunakan faktor emisi sebesar 0,725 kg CO₂/kWh, serta evaluasi strategi efisiensi energi pada sistem penerangan, sistem pengkondisian udara, dan penggunaan peralatan elektronik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi energi gedung didominasi oleh sistem pengkondisian udara sebesar 46,36%, diikuti oleh peralatan elektronik sebesar 34,47% dan sistem penerangan indoor sebesar 19,17%. Ruang dengan konsumsi energi tertinggi terdapat pada Office Lantai 1 dan Office Lantai 2 yang juga menghasilkan emisi karbon terbesar. Implementasi program efisiensi energi seperti penggantian lampu LED, optimalisasi sistem pendingin udara, serta pengelolaan penggunaan peralatan elektronik mampu menurunkan konsumsi energi dan emisi karbon secara signifikan. Sebagai contoh, emisi karbon pada Office Lantai 2 berhasil diturunkan dari 18,69 ton CO₂/tahun menjadi 6,84 ton CO₂/tahun atau berkurang sebesar 63,4%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi efisiensi energi mampu meningkatkan kinerja energi bangunan sekaligus menurunkan jejak karbon, sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi dalam pengelolaan energi yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan pada sektor bangunan perkantoran.

Energy consumption in the building sector, particularly in office buildings, contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions. This study aims to analyze energy consumption patterns, calculate the carbon footprint, and evaluate the potential implementation of energy efficiency programs in the Office Buildings of an Oil and Gas Distribution Company in the Central Java Region at Fuel Terminal Maos. The research methods include the analysis of Energy Consumption Intensity (ECI), carbon emission calculations from electricity consumption using an emission factor of 0.725 kg CO₂/kWh, and the evaluation of energy efficiency strategies in lighting systems, air conditioning systems, and electronic equipment usage.The results show that energy consumption in the office buildings is dominated by the air conditioning system at 46.36%, followed by electronic equipment at 34.47% and indoor lighting systems at 19.17%. The highest energy consumption occurs in Office Floor 1 and Office Floor 2, which also produce the largest carbon emissions. The implementation of energy efficiency measures, such as the use of LED lighting, optimization of air conditioning systems, and improved management of electronic equipment usage, significantly reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions. For instance, carbon emissions in Office Floor 2 decreased from 18.69 tons CO₂/year to 6.84 tons CO₂/year, representing a reduction of 63.4%. Overall, the implementation of energy efficiency strategies proves effective in improving building energy performance and reducing carbon footprint. The findings of this study can serve as a recommendation for more efficient and sustainable energy management in office buildings.
