Abstract

The success of a group or community can be influenced by how social relations are established. Social relationships are related to the social capital formed in groups. The aims of this research were (1) to analyze the description of the lements of social capita in Pokdarwis Arumsari,(2) to analyze the success of Pokdarwis Arumsari, and (3) the effect of lements of social capital toward the success of Pokdarwis Arumsari. This research was conducted in June – September 2021 at Pandansari Tourism Village, Warungasem District, Batang Regency, Central Java. The sample used was 37 people who are all members of Pokdarwis Arumsari. Sampling method was census. Method data analysis used descriptive analysis with likert scale and statistical data analysis with SmartPLS 3.0 tool. The results showed that the element of trust was classified as a high category with a value of 80.46%, the social network was classified as a high category with a value of 76.01% and norms belonged to the high category with a value of 74.41%. While the success of Pokdarwis Arumsari was classified in the successful category with a value of 75.30%. The element of social capital had a positive and significant effect either partially and simultaneously on the success of Pokdarwis Arumsari. The element of social capital had an effect the success of pokdarwis by 59,5%.
