Abstract
Introduction: Primary infertility is a condition when a couple failed to produce or give birth to a living child even though they have been sexually active for 12 months without contraceptive precautions. Infertility cases in families may be a problem for the couples who wants to have children and could end in depression and anxiety. Method: This study is a descriptive analytic with total sampling technique. This took 51 samples of couples who's diagnosed with primary infertility. Result: This study shows 52,94% is ovarian factors, 45,10% of the factor is tubal factors, 33,33% of the primary infertility factor is uterine factors, 5,88% is infections, 50,98% of the factors are sperm abnormality, and 5,88% is other factors. Conclusion: The largest percentage of primary infertility factors in RSUP Dr. Kariadi is ovarian factors followed by sperm abnormality.
