Abstract
The main purpose of this case study is to examine the mechanism effect of capital adequacy ratio
(CAR) and profit-sharing on return on asset (ROA). The data for the present study are collected from
Indonesian sharia banks in the period of 2011 to 2015. The data is analyzed using content analysis and
descriptive statistics. The empirical findings reveal that CAR and profit-sharing have a significant positive
effect on ROA.
