dan Fosfat Sedimen terhadap Kerapatan Lamun di Perairan Pantai Prawean dan
Pantai Semat, Jepara, Jawa Tengah. Ria Azizah Tri Nuraini dan Ita Riniatsih).
Lamun merupakan tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang dapat menyerap nutrien
yang ada pada substrat melalui sistem akar yang dibutuhkan dalam prose
pertumbuhannya. Nitrat dan fosfat dibutuhkan lamun dalam proses fotosintesis. Di
perairan, nutrien ini dapat dihasilkan dari masukan aktivitas daratan dan hasil
dekomposisi tumbuhan lamun yang telah mati. Pantai Prawean dan Pantai Semat
termasuk kawasan yang banyak melibatkan aktivitas manusia seperti kegiatan
wisata, tempat berlalu lalangnya kapal, aktivitas nelayan, selain itu juga termasuk
kawasan padat penduduk dengan berbagai aktivitas yang memberikan kontribusi
terhadap kontribusi zat organik dan anorganik terhadap perairan sekitarnya
sehingga mempengaruhi kadar nitrat dan fosfat di perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan lamun yang terdapat di
perairan Pantai Prawean dan Pantai Semat, Jepara. Metode penelitian ini yaitu
deskriptif eksploratif, sedangkan metode penentuan lokasi menggunakan metode
purposive sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2023. Analisis
sampel penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Balai Pengujian dan Peralatan,
Ungaran dan Laboratorium Geologi, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan,
Universitas Diponegoro. Hasil kandungan nitrat dan fosfat dalam sedimen di
perairan Pantai Prawean berturut-turut memiliki nilai berkisar 0,59 – 1.09 mg/l dan
0,25 – 0,54 mg/l. Kandungan nitrat dan fosfat di Pantai Semat yaitu berkisar 0,62 –
1,07 mg/l dan 0,18 – 0,94 mg/l. Jenis lamun yang ditemukan pada Pantai Prawean
sebanyak 6 spesies yaitu Oceana serrulata, Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia
hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, Halophila ovalis, dan Halodule uninervis. Di
Pantai Semat terdapat 4 spesies yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii,
Cymodocea rotundata dan Halodule uninervis. Nilai kerapatan pada kedua lokasi
yaitu berturut-turut 173,33 ind/m2 dan 164 ind/m2 yang tergolong rapat. Korelasi
substrat terhadap kerapatan lamun di Pantai Prawean menunjukkan adanya korelasi
positif dengan r = 0,981 dan determinasi sebesar 0,963. Pada Pantai Semat
didapatkan korelasi positif dengan r = 0,927 dan determinasi sebesar 0,859.
Besarnya pengaruh substrat terhadap kondisi kerapatan lamun di Pantai Prawean
menghasilkan nilai determinasi sebesar 0,963 (96,3%) dan di Pantai Semat
didapatkan sebesar 0,859 (85,9%).

Nitrate and Phosphate Content to Seagrass Density in Prawean Beach and Semat
Beach, Jepara, Central Java. Ria Azizah Tri Nuraini and Ita Riniatsih).
Seagrass is a higher plant that can absorb nutrients in the substrate through
the root system needed in its growth process. Nitrate and phosphate are required
by seagrasses in the photosynthesis process. In the water, these nutrients can be
produced from the input of land activities and the decomposition of dead seagrass
plants. Prawean Beach and Semat Beach include areas that involve a lot of human
activities such as tourist activities, boat traffic, and fishing activities, and also
include densely populated areas with various activities that contribute to the
contribution of organic and inorganic substances to the surrounding waters to
affect nitrate and phosphate levels in the seas. This study aims to determine the
factors affecting seagrass growth in Prawean Beach and Semat Beach, Jepara
waters. This research method is descriptive and exploratory while deciding the
location uses a purposive sampling method. The research was conducted in March
2023. Research sample analysis was conducted at the Laboratory of Testing and
Equipment Center, Ungaran and Geology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and
Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University. The nitrate and phosphate content results
in sediments in Prawean Beach waters have values ranging from 0.59 - 1.09 mg/l
and 0.25 - 0.54 mg/l, respectively. The nitrate and phosphate content in Semat
Beach is in the range of 0.62 - 1.07 mg/l and 0.18 - 0.94 mg/l. Seagrass species
found in Prawean Beach were 6 species, namely Oceana serrulata, Enhalus
acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata, Halophila ovalis, and
Halodule uninervis. At Semat Beach there are 4 species namely Enhalus acoroides,
Thalassia hemprichii, Cymodocea rotundata and Halodule uninervis. The density
values in both locations are 173.33 ind/m2 and 164 ind/m2, respectively, classified
as dense. The correlation between substrate and seagrass density at Prawean
Beach showed a positive correlation with r = 0.981 and a determination of 0.963.
At Semat Beach, there was a positive correlation with r = 0.927 and a resolution of
0.859. The substrate influence on seagrass density conditions at Prawean Beach
resulted in a determination value of 0.963 (96.3%), and at Semat Beach obtained
0.859 (85.9%).
