Abstract

(Tasya Afifa Ilmiyah. 26040119120003. Pengaruh Perlakuan Suhu Optimal
terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan dan Rasio Konversi Pakan pada Kepiting Bakau (Scylla
serrata Forsskäl,1775). Sunaryo dan Ali Djunaedi).
Laju pertumbuhan yang optimal serta penggunaan pakan yang efisien
merupakan faktor yang penting dalam keberhasilan suatu kegiatan budidaya
Kepiting Bakau. Namun, banyak permasalahan yang terdapat pada kegiatan
budidaya tersebut. Faktor suhu berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan aktivitas
fisiologis Kepiting Bakau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh
perlakuan suhu optimal terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan rasio konversi pakan.
Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 30 hari di Laboratorium Biologi Fakultas Perikanan
dan Ilmu Kelautan, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan yaitu eksperimental laboratory dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap
(RAL). Diterapkan 2 perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan pada setiap perlakuan
yaitu: A (suhu konstan 29oC) dan B (suhu berfluktuasi). Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan suhu 29oC secara konstan berpengaruh nyata (sig <
0,05) terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan rasio konversi pakan. Hasil analisis laju
pertumbuhan (GR) menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan A (0,18 ± 0,02 g/hari) lebih
tinggi dari perlakuan B (0,15 ± 0,02 g/hari). Hasil perhitungan FCR menunjukkan
bahwa rerata perlakuan A (5,1 ± 0,4) lebih rendah dari perlakuan B (8,4 ± 0,05),
sehingga suhu konstan 29oC merupakan suhu optimal bagi budidaya Kepiting
Bakau yang lebih efektif.

Treatment on Growth Rate and Feed Conversion Ratio in Mud Crab (Scylla serrata
Forsskäl, 1775). Sunaryo and Ali Djunaedi).
Optimal growth rate and efficient use of feed are important factors in the
success of a mangrove crab cultivation activity. However, there are many problems
in these cultivation activities. The temperature factor affects the growth and
physiological activity of Mud Crab. The purpose of this study was to determine the
effect of optimal temperature treatment on growth rate and feed conversion ratio.
This research was conducted for 30 days at the Biology Laboratory, Faculty of
Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The research
method used was laboratory experimental with Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL).
Two treatments were applied with 3 repetitions for each treatment, namely: A
(constant temperature 29oC) and B (fluctuating temperature). The results showed
that constant temperature treatment at 29oC had a significant effect (sig <0.05) on
growth rate and feed conversion ratio. The results of growth rate analysis (GR)
showed that treatment A (0.18 ± 0.02 g/day) was higher than treatment B (0.15 ±
0.02 g/day). The FCR calculation results show that the average treatment A (5.1 ±
0.4) is lower than treatment B (8.4 ± 0.05), so a constant temperature of 29oC is the
optimal temperature for more effective mangrove crab cultivation.
