This research is about This research is about the syntactic relationship and meaning of yojijukugo. Yojijukugo is a word formed from four combined kanji and forms a new word. The research question of this research are a) how is the syntactic relationship between elements forming yojijukugo in the anime PriPara; b) how is the meaning produced from yojijukugo in the anime PriPara. The research aims to find out the syntactic relationship between elements and the meaning produced by yojijukugo in the anime Pripara. The scope of this research is morphology and semantics. This research uses ‘simak’ method with basic technique ‘sadap’ and advanced technique ‘catat’. Data analysis is carried out by grouping the elements that form yojijukugo according to their categories, then analyzing the syntactic relationship between yojijukugo elements according to the forming jukugo. After that, the meaning produced by yojijukugo is analyzed based on the context in the conversation. The results of this research found 40 data of yojijukugo category 1 subject or object relationship with predicates, 7 data of yojijukugo category 2 in the form of verbal phrases, 13 data of yojijukugo category 3 in the form of nominal phrases, 10 data of yojijukugo category 4 in the form of phrases, and 17 data of yojijukugo in the form of equivalent compound words that are synonymous or synonymous. The syntactic relationships between yojijukugo that are formed are subject or object relationships described by predicates and compound word relationships. The meanings produced by yojijukugo were found to be 74 direct meanings and 11 figurative meanings. Direct meaning yojijukugo is more commonly used because it is an ordinary word that has a combination of four kanji than figurative meaning which has its own etymology.
