ABSTRAK

Produktivitas Primer dan Struktur Kelimpahan Fitoplankton di Waduk Cengklik,
Boyolali, Jawa Tengah. Arif Rahman dan Churun Ain).
Waduk Cengklik merupakan waduk yang mempunyai banyak kegunaan bagi
masyarakat sekitar dan pemerintah setempat seperti pariwisata, pengairan dan
budidaya perikanan yaitu adanya Keramba Jaring Apung (KJA). Pemanfaatan KJA
dapat menyebabkan eutrofikasi dan melimpahnya fitoplankton akibat dari unsur
hara yang dihasilkan oleh sisa pakan dari kegiatan budidaya perikanan. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai produktivitas primer, hubungan antara nutrien
di perairan Waduk Cengklik, Boyolali. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan
Februari – Mei 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dan
deskriptif dengan metode pengambilan sampel Stratified Random Sampling dan
teknik pengambilan sampel fitoplankton secara pasif pada empat titik dengan dua
kali pengulangan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan
berganda untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian diperoleh
nilai produktivitas primer kotor “Gross Primary Productivity/GPP” sebesar 62,50
– 156,25 mgC/m3
/jam dan produktivitas primer bersih “Net Primary
Productivity/NPP” sebesar 31,25 – 97,35 mgC/m3
/jam. Total kelimpahan
fitoplankton yang diperoleh sebanyak 25.633 - 34.933 sel/L dengan presentase
paling banyak ditemukan kelas Cyanophyceae. Hasil pengukuran parameter
kualitas air menunjukkan nilai optimum dengan kategori perairan oligotrofik -
eutrofik. Hasil analisis regresi antara NPP dan kelimpahan fitoplankton
menunjukkan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,608 yang artinya kelimpahan
fitoplankton mempengaruhi NPP sebesar 60,8% dan sisanya 39,2% dipengaruhi
faktor lainnya. Nitrat (NO3) dan orthofosfat (PO4) menunjukkan hubungan rendah
dengan kelimpahan fitoplankton diperoleh nilai determinasi yaitu 0,0311 yang
artinya 3,11% hubungan rendah dengan distribusi fitoplankton di perairan diduga
97% sisanya berasal dari faktor lain seperti suhu, pH, kecerahan, kedalaman dan
oksigen terlarut.

Cengklik Reservoir is a reservoir that has many uses for the surrounding
community and local government such as tourism, irrigation and aquaculture,
namely the existence of Floating Net Cages (FNC). The use of FNC can cause
eutrophication and phytoplankton abundance due to nutrients produced by feed
residues from aquaculture activities. This study aims to determine the value of
primary productivity, the relationship between nutrients in the waters of Cengklik
Reservoir, Boyolali. This research will be conducted in February – May 2023. The
research method used is quantitative and descriptive with the Stratified Random
Sampling method and phytoplankton sampling technique passively at four points
with two repetitions. Data analysis uses simple and multiple linear regression
analysis to determine the relationship between variables. The results obtained the
value of “Gross Primary Productivity / GPP” of 62.50 - 156.25 mgC / m3 / hour
and "Net Primary Productivity / NPP" of 31.25 - 97.35 mgC / m3 / hour. The total
abundance of phytoplankton obtained was 25,633 - 34,933 cells / L with the highest
percentage found in the Cyanophyceae class. The results of measuring water
quality parameters show the optimum value with the category of oligotrophic -
eutrophic waters. The results of regression analysis between NPP and
phytoplankton abundance showed a coefficient of determination of 0.608, which
means that phytoplankton abundance affects NPP by 60.8% and the remaining
39.2% is influenced by other factors. Nitrate (NO3) and orthophosphate (PO4)
showed a low relationship with phytoplankton abundance obtained a determination
value of 0.0311 which means 3.11% low relationship with phytoplankton
distribution in waters allegedly the remaining 97% comes from other factors such
as temperature, pH, brightness, depth and dissolved oxygen.
