Kabupaten Jepara memiliki sumber daya ikan dengan jenis yang beragam
yang dimana alat tangkap dogol menjadi salah satu alat tangkap yang digunakan
nelayan dalam kegiatan penangkapan di TPI Ujung Batu, Jepara. Menurut Permen
KP No. 18 Tahun 2021 tentang alat tangkap dogol yang termasuk dalam kategori
alat tangkap dilarang penggunaannya karena berpotensi merusak habitat ikan,
namun alat tangkap dogol yang terdapat di Jepara memiliki ciri ciri yang
dioperasikan pada permukaan air sehingga tidak merusak habitat ikan. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek teknik penangkapan alat tangkap dogol
berdasarkan kriteria CCRF, menganalisis karakteristik sosial nelayan dan
menganalisis aspek ekonomi yaitu biaya, pendapatan, keuntungan dan kelayakan
ekonomi usaha penangkapan dengan menghitung Break Even Point (BEP),
Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio), Payback Period (PP), Return of Investment (ROI).
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang diawali dengan
penentuan jumlah responden dengan metode sensus nelayan dogol di TPI Ujung
Batu yang berjumlah 11 orang untuk aspek ekonomi dan 30 orang jumlah reponden
meliputi stakeholders PPP Kab. Jepara sejumlah 4 orang lalu nelayan dogol itu
sendiri dan kemudian nelayan lainnya sebanyak 15 orang menggunakan metode
purposive sampling untuk responden pada kriteria CCRF. Hasil dari penelitian ini
dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa alat tangkap dogol medapatkan skor 24,85 dan
masuk kedalam kategori ramah lingkungan. Karakteristik nelayan di TPI Ujung
Batu didominasi nelayan dengan usia di atas 55 tahun, pendidikan akhir mayoritas
hanya pada tingkat SD, Sebagian besar memiliki jumlah keluarga lebih dari 5
anggota keluarga dan rata-rata memiliki pengalaman lebih dari 20 tahun nelayan
dogol juga mayoritas memiliki 2-4 sumber pedapatan dan mampu mengoperasikan
alat tangkap lainnya. Pendapatan pemilik usaha dalam penangkapan dogol
mendapatkan keuntungan rata-rata Rp 38.333.056/tahun dengan R/C Ratio rata-rata
1,4 memiliki nilai PP rata-rata 1,7 tahun dan tingkat ROI rata-rata sebesar 57%.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan usaha dogol di
TPI Ujung Batu, Jepara layak untuk dilanjutkan.

Jepara Regency has fish resources with various types. The dogol fishing
gear is one of the fishing gears used by fishermen in fishing activities at TPI Ujung
Batu, Jepara. According to KP Ministerial Regulation No. 18 of 2021 concerning
the dogol fishing gear which is included in the fishing gear category it is prohibited
to use it because it has the potential to damage fish habitat, however the dogol
fishing gear in Jepara has characteristics that operate on the surface of the water
so it does not damage fish habitat. This study aims to analyze the technical aspects
of fishing for the doe fishing gear based on the CCRF criteria, analyze the social
characteristics of fishermen and analyze the economic aspects, namely costs,
income, profits and economic feasibility of the fishing effort by calculating the
Break Even Point (BEP), Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C). Ratio), Payback Period (PP),
Return of Investment (ROI). The method used in this research is descriptive which
begins with determining the number of respondents using the census method of
fishers in Ujung Batu TPI, totaling 11 people for the economic aspect and 30 people
for the number of respondents including PPP Kab. Jepara with a total of 4 people
then the dogol fisherman himself and then other fishermen with a total of 15 people
using the purposive sampling method for respondents on the CCRF criteria. The
results of this study can be concluded that the dogol fishing gear gets a score of
24.85 and is included in the environmentally friendly category. The characteristics
of fishermen in Ujung Batu TPI are dominated by fishermen over 55 years of age,
the majority of final education is only at the elementary level, most have a family
of more than 5 family members and on average have experience of more than 20
years. Dogol fishermen also have the majority of 2- 4 sources of income and able
to operate other fishing gear. The income of business owners in catching dogol
gains an average profit of IDR 38,333,056/year with an average R/C ratio of 1.4,
has an average PP value of 1.7 years and an average ROI rate of 57%. Based on
the research that has been done, it is concluded that the dogol business at TPI
Ujung Batu, Jepara is feasible to continue.
