Abstract

Laut, Angin, dan Klorofil-a Akibat Dampak La Nina Triple Dip 2020-2022 di
Laut Jawa. Anindya Wirasatriya dan Yusuf Jati Wijaya).
Laut Jawa merupakan perairan dengan kondisi oseanografi yang kompleks
karena dipengaruhi oleh monsun dan fenomena iklim seperti ENSO. Hal ini
menyebabkan variasi yang beragam pada Suhu Permukaan Laut (SPL), angin, dan
konsentrasi klorofil-a ketika musim barat dan musim timur. Namun demikian,
kondisi interannual seperti El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) terutama La
Nina dapat memengaruhi variasi parameter-parameter tersebut. Penelitian
mengenai pengaruh ENSO terhadap SPL, angin, dan klorofil-a telah dilakukan
sebelumnya. Namun, penelitian ini akan berfokus pada fenomena La Nina 2020-
2022 dan melakukan perbandingan dengan pengaruh pada periode La Nina
sebelumnya (2007-2019). Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk
melengkapi penelitian sebelumnya dengan melakukan perbandingan antar periode
La Nina dan dampaknya terhadap SPL, angin, dan klorofil-a, serta melakukan
analisis lanjutan menggunakan literatur Indo-Pacific Warm Pool (IPWP) dan Arus
Lintas Indonesia (Arlindo). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meluputi
data SST, klorofil-a, dan angin yang berasal dari GHRSST, OceanColour, dan
ASCAT. Pengolahan data menggunakan metode komposit bulanan dengan
analisis spasio-temporal berdasarkan hasil anomali. Hasil analisis menunjukkan
bahwa La Nina 2020-2022 menyebabkan SPL menjadi lebih hangat dibandingkan
dengan La Nina 2007-2019 dengan anomali 0,08 hingga 0,9°C, kecepatan angin
zonal La Nina 2020-2022 relatif lebih lemah daripada La Nina 2007-2019 dengan
anomali -0,05 hingga -0,8 m/s, serta konsentrasi klorofil-a La Nina 2020-2022
lebih tinggi pada setiap musim.

The Java Sea has complex oceanographic conditions because it is
influenced by monsoon and climate phenomena such as ENSO. This causes
variations in Sea Surface Temperature (SST), wind, and chlorophyll-a
concentration during the north-west and south-east monsoon. However,
interannual conditions such as the El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO),
especially La Nina, can affect variations in these parameters. Research on the
effect of ENSO on SST, wind, and chlorophyll-a has been done before. However,
this research will focus on the 2020-2022 La Nina phenomenon and make a
comparison with the influence of the previous La Nina period (2007-2019).
Therefore, this study aims to complement previous research by making
comparisons between La Nina periods and their impact on SST, wind, and
chlorophyll-a, as well as conducting further analysis using Indo-Pacific Warm
Pool (IPWP) analysis and Indonesian Throughflow (ITF). The data used in this
research includes SST, chlorophyll-a, and wind data from GHRSST,
OceanColour, and ASCAT. Data processing uses the monthly composite method
with spatio-temporal analysis based on anomaly results. The results of the
analysis show that La Nina 2020-2022 causes SST to become warmer compared
to the La Nina 2007-2019 with an anomaly of 0,08 to 0,9°C, the zonal wind speed
of La Nina 2020-2022 is relatively weaker than La Nina 2007-2019 with an
anomaly of -0,05 to -0,8 m/s, and also, chlorophyll-a concentrations of La Nina
2020-2022 are higher in each season.
