Abstract

ABSTRAK
(Rizky Prasjaya Ahtsani. 26030119140021. Analisis Perbedaan Umpan dan
Immersing Bubu Naga (Accordion−Shaped Traps) Terhadap Hasil Tangkapan Di
Kabupaten Kendal.
jenis ikan demersal lainnya.
didapat selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian data dengan Uji Two Way Anova hasilnya
menunjukan penggunaan umpan ikan sembilang dan udang vaname berpengaruh nyata
terhadap hasil tangkapan dengan nilai Sig. 0,000. Sedangkan Immersing Bubu Naga

ABSTRACT
(Rizky Prasjaya Ahtsani. 26030119140021. Analysis of Differences in Bait
and Immersing Time in Accordion−Shaped Traps on Catch Results in Kendal
Regency. Faik Kurohman and Kukuh Eko Prihantoko)
Accordion−Shaped Traps is a new fishing gear by fishermen in Bandengan
Village, Kendal Regency to catch crabs and other types of demersal fish. The purpose
of this study was to analyze the composition of fish caught by Accordion−Shaped
Traps, analyze the size frequency distribution of fish caught by Accordion−Shaped
Traps, and analyze the effect of different baits and immersion time on
Accordion−Shaped Traps on the catches. The method used in this study is the
experimental fishing method using two variables, namely the difference in bait and
immersion time. The baits used are eeltail catfish and vanamae shrimp, while the
difference in immersing time is every 6 hours from 17.00-23.00 WIB and 12 hours from
17.00-05.00 WIB. The research was conducted with 6 repetitions in Kendal Regency.
The results of the data obtained are 17 types of fish that have different habitats with
the largest lengths of fish, shrimp and crabs, namely 9.5 – 15.8 cm, 6.1 – 9.2 cm, and
10.0 – 10. 8 cm respectively get 325 tails, 176 tails, and 17 tails. and the size of the
longest fish caught was 69.2-75.1 cm as much as 1 fish, namely the nine fish. While
the weight measures of fish, shrimp and crabs caught are 1.0 - 79.4 grams, 1.0 - 5.5
grams, and 38.0 - 81.8 grams. The catches in the combination of treatments were able
to use bait and immersion time to increase catches compared to without the use of bait
with short immersion. The data obtained was then tested by testing the data with the
Two Way Anova Test. The results showed that the use of bait had a significant effect
on the catch with a Sig value. 0.000. Meanwhile, the different immersion time for
Accordion−Shaped Traps also had an effect on the catch with a Sig. 0.000. In the
combination of treatments, differences in bait and the duration of immersion of
Accordion−Shaped Traps did not affect the catch with a Sig value. 0.120.
