Abstract

Pekalongan memiliki wilayah pesisir tepatnya berada di bagian Utara yang
berbatasan langsung dengan Laut Jawa. Salah satunya yaitu Pantai Sebakung yang
terdapat laguna di areanya. Pada bagian Barat Laguna terdapat Sungai Pencongan
yang dijadikan sebagai tempat pembuangan limbah rumah tangga masyarakat
sekitar maupun industri batik. Bagian Timur Laguna Sebakung terdapat vegatasi
mangrove yang dijadikan sebagai kawasan wisata hutan mangrove. Adanya
aktivitas pemanfaatan di sekitar laguna yang intensif tentunya akan memengaruhi
kandungan nutrien pada perairan. Nutrien pada perairan berkaitan dengan
kandungan klorofil-a dalam suatu perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui konsentrasi dan pola sebaran klorofil-a di perairan Laguna Sebakung,
Pekalongan. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 19 Juni 2022 dengan 6 titik stasiun
untuk pengambilan data klorofil-a dan kualitas perairan (suhu, salinitas, pH,
oksigen terlarut, dan kecerahan) secara in-situ. Selanjutnya data klorofil-a akan
dianalisis di Laboratorium Kimia, Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan,
Universitas Diponegoro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi klorofil-a
berkisar antara 0,4799 - 5,6360 mg/L. Data arus juga digunakan dalam penelitian
untuk mengetahui pola persebarannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa konsentrasi klorofil-a di Perairan Laguna Pekalongan secara horizontal
dipengaruhi oleh adanya limbah rumah tangga, limbah tambak ikan dan vegetasi
mangrove. Persebaran klorofil-a secara horizontal mengarah dari Timur Laut
menuju ke arah Barat Daya. Sebaran klorofil-a di Perairan Laguna Pekalongan
dipengaruhi oleh arus yang disebabkan oleh kondisi perairan yang menuju pasang.

Pekalongan has a coastal area in the north which is directly adjacent to the
Java Sea. One of them is Sebakung Beach, which has a lagoon in the area. In the
western part of the lagoon there is the Pencongan River which is used as a place
for the disposal of household waste from the local community and the batik
industry. The eastern part of the Sebakung Lagoon has mangrove vegetation which
is used as a mangrove forest tourism area. The existence of intensive utilization
activities around the lagoon will certainly affect the nutrient content in the waters.
Nutrients in waters are related to the content of chlorophyll-a in a waters. This
study aims to determine the concentration and pattern of distribution of
chlorophyll-a in the waters of Sebakung Lagoon, Pekalongan. The research was
conducted on June 19, 2022 with 6 station points to collect in-situ data on
chlorophyll-a and water quality (temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and
brightness). Furthermore, the chlorophyll-a data will be analyzed at the Chemistry
Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Diponegoro University. The
results showed that the concentration of chlorophyll-a ranged from 0.4799 - 5.6360
mg/L. Stream data is also used in research to determine distribution patterns. Based
on the results of the study, it shows that the concentration of chlorophyll-a in the
waters of the Pekalongan Lagoon is horizontally affected by the presence of
household waste, fish pond waste and mangrove vegetation. The distribution of
chlorophyll-a horizontally leads from the Northeast to the Southwest. The
distribution of chlorophyll-a in the Pekalongan Lagoon waters is influenced by
currents caused by the condition of the waters towards the tide.
