Abstract

(Indah Bella Pratiwi. 26050119130048. Pengaruh Fosfor Organik dan
Jenis Sedimen Terhadap Karbon Organik Total Pada Sedimen Dasar di Perairan
Sekitar Muara Sungai Pemali, Brebes. Muhammad Helmi & Aris Ismanto)
Nilai konsentrasi KOT dapat menjadi indikator kontaminasi pada
lingkungan perairan. Perairan di sekitar muara Sungai Pemali, Kabupaten Brebes,
Provinsi Jawa Tengah berpotensi memiliki nilai konsentrasi KOT yang tinggi yang
disebabkan oleh tingginya sedimentasi dan luasnya area mangrove di sekitar muara
sungai. Riset terdahulu yang mengkaji pengaruh Fosfor Organik dan Jenis Sedimen
terhadap KOT belum banyak ditemukan. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengkaji dan
sebaran dari Jenis Sedimen dan Fosfor Organik serta pengaruhnya terhadap KOT.
Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi untuk mengkaji pengaruh dan
pendekatan geospasial untuk analisis persebaran konsentrasi KOT dan Fosfor
Organik. Riset ini menemukan bahwa konsentrasi KOT berkisar antara 6.21 -
14.44%, dan Fosfor Organik memiliki rentang nilai sebesar 0.15 - 0.86 μmol/gram.
Jenis sedimen yang ditemukan adalah pasir, lanau, dan lanau pasiran. Fosfor
Organik diketahui berpengaruh pada KOT pada kategori sedang (R
2 = 0.61) dan
jenis sedimen berpengaruh terhadap KOT pada kategori yang relatif sama (R
2 =
0.65). Sebaran konsentrasi KOT dan fosfor organik diduga dipengaruhi oleh jenis
sedimen, variabel geokimia laut dan masukan material organik yang berasal dari
sungai. Kajian ini sangat penting bagi pengelola wilayah perairan sebagai upaya
pencegahan dan mitigasi pencemaran bahan organik dan bermanfaat untuk
diaplikasikan pada berbagai perairan tropis.

Phosphorus and Sediment Type on Total Organic Carbon in Pemali River Estuary
Sediments, Brebes. Muhammad Helmi & Aris Ismanto)
The Total Organic Carbon (TOC) concentration value can be an indicator of
contamination in the aquatic environment. The waters around the mouth of the
Pemali River, Brebes Regency, Central Java Province have the potential to have
high TOC concentration values caused by high sedimentation and the large
mangrove area around the river mouth. Previous research that examines the
influence of Organic Phosphorus and Sediment Type on TOC not widely found yet.
This study examines the study and distribution of Sediment Type and Organic
Phosphorus and their influence on TOC. The method used is regression analysis to
study the influence and geospatial approach to analyze the distribution of TOC and
Organic Phosphorus concentrations. The research found that the concentration of
TOC ranged from 6.21-14.44%, and Organic Phosphorus had a value range of
0.15-0.86 μmol/gram. The sediment types found were sand, silt and sandy silt.
Organic Phosphorus is known to affect TOC in the moderate category (R
2 = 0.61)
and sediment type affects TOC in the relatively same category (R
2 = 0.65). The
distribution of TOC and organic phosphorus concentrations is thought to be
influenced by sediment type, marine geochemical variables and input of organic
material from rivers. This study is very important for water area managers as an
effort to prevent and mitigate organic matter pollution and is useful for application
to various tropical water.
