Abstract

Teluk Awur merupakan bagian dari perairan Jepara yang memiliki teluk dan tanjung. Wilayah perairan Teluk Awur ini mendapatkan masukan Material Padatan Tersuspensi (MPT) dari daratan yang menyebabkan perairan menjadi keruh. Berlebihnya MPT perairan akan membatasi kelimpahan fitoplankton dan penurunan kadar oksigen. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis sebaran konsentrasi MPT di wilayah pesisir Teluk Awur. Metode analisis sampel air dengan metode gravimetri. Data primer yang digunakan yaitu sampel air laut, sedangkan data sekunder yang digunakan yaitu data angin, pasang surut, garis pantai, batimetri, dan peta Rupabumi Indonesia (RBI). Persebaran arus permukaan yang memengaruhi MPT diketahui dengan melakukan pemodelan Hidrodinamika 2D dengan perangkat lunak MIKE 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai konsentrasi MPT pada perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara bervariasi antara 57,2 – 84,2 mg/l. Pola sebaran MPT pada pengambilan data lapangan yaitu 15 Oktober 2022 saat kondisi surut menuju pasang. Pola sebaran konsentrasi MPT dominan terkumpul pada daerah sekitar muara sungai Kembangan dan mengendap pada daerah pesisir. Distribusi MPT sangat dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan dan arah arus. Kecepatan arus relatif rendah dan mengarah menuju laut dengan kecepatan 0,001 – 0,039 m/s.

Teluk Awur is a part of Jepara waters that has bays and headlands. The waters of Teluk Awur receive inputs of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) from the mainland which causes the waters to become turbid. Excess TSS waters will limit phytoplankton abundance and decrease oxygen levels. The research objective is to analyze the distribution of TSS concentration in the coastal area of Teluk Awur. The method of analyzing water samples by gravimetric method. Primary data used are seawater samples, while secondary data used are wind data, tides, coastline, bathymetry, and Indonesian Rupabumi map (RBI). The distribution of surface currents that affect TSS is known by doing 2D Hydrodynamics modeling with MIKE 21 software. The results showed that the concentration value of TSS in the waters of Teluk Awur, Jepara varied between 57,2 – 84,2 mg/l. The distribution pattern of TSS in field data collection is October 15, 2022 during low tide to high tide conditions. The distribution pattern of TSS concentrations is dominantly collected in the area around the mouth of the Kembangan river and settles in coastal areas. MPT distribution is strongly influenced by current speed and direction. The current speed is relatively low and leads to the sea with a speed of 0,001 – 0,039 m/s.
