Abstract

ABSTRAK

(Vita Oktaviani. 26020119120007. Pengaruh Frekuensi Pemberian Pakan Yang Berbeda Pada Benih Ikan Lele Sangkuriang (Clarias gariepinus) Dengan Penambahan Enzim Fitase Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Efisiensi Pemanfaatan Pakan.

ABSTRACT

(Vita Oktaviani. 26020119120007. The Effect of Different Feeding Frequency on Sangkuriang Catfish Seed (Clarias gariepinus) With the Addition of Phytase Enzyme on Growth and Efficiency of Feed Utilization. Diana Chilmawati and Dewi Nurhayati).

Common problems that occur in Sangkuriang catfish farming (Clarias sp. ) is feed. Feed is very influential on the growth rate of sangkuriang catfish. The smaller the size of the fish, the more frequent the frequency of feeding. The smaller the capacity of the stomach, the faster the time to empty the stomach, so that the frequency of feeding needed is more frequent so that its growth will be faster. Fish feed raw materials contain anti-nutritional substances in the form of phytic acid. Phytase enzymes in artificial feed can increase absorption and regulate the excretion of nutrients (phosphorus, nitrogen, and minerals) and can hydrolyze phytic acid in fish feed into inositol and phosphoric acid. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of feeding frequency and determine the frequency of feeding with the addition of phytase enzymes that provide growth and efficiency in the best utilization of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) feed. This study used a complete randomized design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments with 3 repeats. The treatment used in this study was the difference in frequency in feeding Sangkuriang catfish as much as 1x a day, 2x a day, 3x a day, and 4x a day. The test fish used measured 1.84±0.17 grams/head. Sangkuriang catfish are kept in hapa measuring 50x50x60 cm as many as 12 containers with a dense stocking of 20 heads/hapa which are kept for 42 days. The results showed that the difference in frequency of feeding with the addition of phytase had a real effect (P<0.05) on the value of TKP, FCR, EPP, PER, and RGR but did not have a real effect (P>0.05) on SR. The best frequency with the addition of phytase enzyme in feed 2x a day with a value of 93.22±3.05%; 0.92±0.06; and 2.89±0.10%. The best frequency with the addition of phytase enzyme in feed to RGR is 4x a day with a value of 11.37±0.26% / day.
