Pantai Prawean Bandengan memiliki ekosistem lamun cukup subur, namun fungsi pantai tersebut banyak digunakan sebagai tempat berbagai kegiatan manusia sehingga memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kehidupan vegetasi lamun. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk memperbaiki fungsi ekologis ekosistem padang lamun, salah satunya yaitu melalui metode transplantasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik ekosistem padang lamun yaitu: kerapatan, penutupan, kondisi ekologis, dan Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk menilai Preliminary Transplant Suitability Index (PTSI) untuk penentuan prioritas sumber bibit dan donor dalam transplantasi lamun. Metode yang digunakan dalam pemilihan titik stasiun adalah survey eksploratif. Metode pengambilan data lamun menggunakan line transect quadrant. Pemilihan jenis lamun berdasarkan life strategy lamun dan disesuaikan dengan karakteristik padang lamun Pantai Prawean. Hasil analisis PTSI menunjukkan bahwa Stasiun II adalah lokasi yang paling sesuai untuk penanaman jenis lamun Thalassia hemprichii yang bibitnya dapat diperoleh dari Stasiun I.

(Safira Fauzia Rahmi. 26040118130176. Ecological Study of Important Value Index of Seagrass Beds in Prawean Bandengan Coastal Waters, Jepara. Suryono & Ita Riniatsih).
Prawean Bandengan Coastal Water has an abundant seagrass bed. In terms of its function, it is widely used as a various other human activity that contributes a negative impact on the life of seagrass vegetation. At present, various method have been used to improve the ecological function of seagrass ecosystems, one of which is through the transplantation. This study aims to identify the characteristics of seagrass ecosystems including density, cover, ecological conditions, and Important Value Index (IVI) which then gets a Preliminary Transplant Suitability Index (PTSI) score to select and prioritize potential transplant and donors’site for transplantation. This study uses a survey method to determine the station point, whilst the seagrass data collection uses line transect quadrant method. The selection of seagrass species was based on its life strategy and is adjusted to the characteristics of seagrass beds at Prawean Bandengan Beach. The results of the calculated PTSI score showed that Site II is the most suitable location for transplanting Thalassia hemprichii which the seeds can be acquired from Site I.
