Pertumbuhan Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus, Linnaeus, 1758) Di Perairan Teluk Awur Jepara Suradi Wijaya Saputra dan Siti Rudiyanti).

Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis penting. Penangkapan rajungan yang intensif dilakukan oleh nelayan akibat banyaknya permintaan pasar serta penangkapan rajungan dengan ukuran kecil berpengaruh terhadap penurunan stok sumber daya rajungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi distribusi ukuran, hubungan lebar bobot, laju pertumbuhan dan pola rekrutmen. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei, Juni, Juli dan Agustus 2022 di perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sistematik sampling. Data yang diambil adalah data lebar karapas (mm) dan bobot (gram) rajungan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan software FiSAT II. Sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 154 ekor rajungan jantan dan 65 ekor rajungan betina berasal dari salah satu tangkapan nelayan setempat, dengan ukuran lebar karapas 75 – 146 mm dan 75 – 155 mm. Analisa hubungan lebar karapas dan bobot rajungan jantan memperoleh persamaan W = 0,0000214cW
3,251 yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan allometri positif dan
rajungan betina memperoleh persamaan W = 0,0000232cW 3,220
yang menunjukkan pertumbuhan isometri. Parameter pertumbuhan diperoleh persamaan rajungan jantan dan betina berturut-turut adalah cWt = 158,55(1 – e (-1,2(t+0,083))) dan cWt =
158,55(1 – e (-0,67(t+0,152))) yang menunjukkan laju pertumbuhan rajungan jantan lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan rajungan betina. Puncak rekrutmen rajungan jantan adalah bulan Oktober sebesar 22,71%, sedangkan rajungan betina pada bulan Mei sebesar 13,52%.

Growth of Blue Swimming Crab (Portunus pelagicus, Linnaeus, 1758) in Awur Jepara Bay Suradi Wijaya Saputra and Siti Rudiyanti).

Blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) is one of the fishery commodities that has important economic value. Intensive catching of crab by fishermen due to market demand as well as catching crab with small size affects the decline of crab
stock resources. This study aims to obtain information on size distribution, widthweight relationship, growth rate and recruitment pattern. The research was conducted in May, June, July and August 2022 in the waters of Awur Bay, Jepara. The method used in this research is survey method. Sampling using systematical sample method. The data taken were carapace width (mm) and weight (gram) of crab. Data analysis was performed by using FiSAT II software. Samples obtained were 154 male and 65 female crabs from one of the local fishermen’s catches, with carapace widths of 75 – 146 mm and 75 – 155 mm. Analysis of the relationship between carapace width and weight of the male crab obtained the equation W = 0.0000214cW
3.251 which indicated positive allometric growth and the female crab obtained the equation W = 0.0000232cW 3.220 which indicated isometric growth. From growth parameters, the equation between male and female crabs that can be obtained respectively cWt = 158.55(1 – e(-1.2(t+0.083)) ( 0.67(t+0.152))) and cWt = 158.55(1 – e) which indicating, the growth rate of male crabs is faster than female crabs. The peak of male crab recruitment was in October at 22.71%, while the female crab was in May at 13.52%.
