Ikan Swanggi (Pricanthus tayenus) termasuk dalam jenis tangkapan utama dengan alat tangkap jaring tarik berkantong (JTB) di PPP Bajomulyo dengan jumlah produksi yang tinggi setiap tahunnya di Kecamatan Juwana Kabupaten Pati. Penangkapan ikan swanggi yang dilakukan secara terus menerus dikhawatirkan
akan menyebabkan kepunahan pada ikan swanggi. PPP Bajomulyo memperoleh produksi ikan swanggi setiap tahun, dengan oleh karena itu perlu adanya pengawasan terhadap sumberdaya ikan swanggi sudahkan terjadi overfishing atau belum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bioekonomi ikan swanggi menggunakan model bioekonomi Gordon-Schaefer, untuk menganalisis MSY, MEY dan OAE. Hasil tersebut dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemanfaatan dan pengupayaan ikan swanggi di Kabupaten Pati. Aplikasi model
bioekonomi digunakan untuk pengembangan melestarikan dan mengelola sumberdaya perikananagar tidak melebihi batas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif bersifat survey dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan snowball sampling sebanyak 75 responden nelayan alat tangkap jaring tarik berkantong (JTB) di PPP Bajomulyo. Pengolahan data berdasarkan penelitian menunjukan bahwa analisi bioekonomi sumberdaya ikan swanggi di Kabupaten Pati memperoleh hasil CMSY sebesar 11.797.620 kg/tahun EMSY sebesar 636 trip, nilai CMEY sebesar 11.335.801 kg/tahun EMEY sebesar 510 trip dan nilai COAE sebesar 7.489.415 kg/tahun EOAE sebesar 1.020 trip. Kondisi saat MSY memiliki profit yang lebih tinggi dibanding saat kondisi MEY dan OAE dikarenakan telah terjadi efisiensi yang optimal pada upaya penangkapan (effort) sehingga dapat profit yang paling tinggi. Tingkat pemanfaatan sumberdaya ikan swanggi dibatasi hingga 11.797.620 kg/tahun dengan tingkat pengupayaan rata-rata berkisar 130 %.

Purple-spotted Bigeye fish (Pricanthus tayenus) in the main catch of Jaring Tarik Berkantong (classified as Danish Seine) fishing gear at PPP Bajomulyo that yielding a large amout of production for every year in Juwana District, Pati Regency. It is feared that purple-spotted bigeye that is carried out continuously will cause the purple-spotted bigeye to become extinct. CFP Bajomulyo were always supply purple-spotted bigeye fish every year, thus monitoring to discover overfishing level of the purple-spotted bigeye fish resources must be carried out. This study aimed to determine the bioeconomic condition of purple-spotted bigeye
fish used the Gordon-Schaefer bioeconomic model, serves to analyze MSY, MEY and OAE. These results could be used to analyze the level of utilization and cultivation of purple-spotted bigeye fish in Pati Regency. The application of bioeconomic model was aimed to conserve and manage the fisheries resource while limiting and maximizing the catch effort. This research used a descriptive method of survey with collected data by snowball sampling of 75 JTB’s fishermen at Bajomulyo Coastal Fishing Port as respondents. Based on processing data’s research showed that the bioeconomic analysis of purple-spotted bigeye fish resources in Pati Regency obtained CMSY results of 11,797,620 kg/year EMSY of 636 trips, C
MEY values was 11.335.801 kg/year EMEY was 510 trips and C
OAE values was 7,489,415 kg / year EOAE was 1,020 trips. MSY condition had higher profit than MEY and OAE due to optimal efficiency fishing effort that made highest profit. The utilization level of purple-spotted bigeye fish resources was limited to 11,797,620 kg/year with an average effort level amount of 130%.
