Perairan Karimunjawa memiliki potensi perikanan tangkap yang baik dan
nelayan masih melakukan penangkapan ikan untuk optimalisasi sumberdaya ikanyang ada. Banyak alat tangkap yang dioperasikan di perairan Karimunjawa untukmemanfaatkan potensi, salah satunya adalah pancing cumi. Pancing cumimerupakan alat tangkap yang dominan digunakan oleh nelayan Karimunjawa,Jepara. Alat tangkap ini termasuk alat tangkap yang selektif dan ramah lingkungan.Hal ini dikarenakan konstruksi dan pengoperasiannya yang sederhana. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan umpan alami yaituikan kurisi (Nemipterus japonicus) dengan warna lampu yang berbeda yaitu birudan putih terhadap hasil tangkapan cumi (Loligo sp.) alat tangkap pancing ulur.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental fishing dengan 6 perlakuan, totalulangan sebanyak 36 kali dalam 6 trip operasi penangkapan. Terdiri dari perlakuankurisi (Nemipterus japonicus) LED biru dengan lampu permukaan, kurisi(Nemipterus japonicus) LED biru tanpa lampu permukaan, kurisi (Nemipterusjaponicus) LED putih dengan lampu permukaan, kurisi (Nemipterus japonicus)LED putih tanpa lampu permukaan, umpan tiruan tanpa LED dengan lampupermukaan dan umpan tiruan tanpa LED tanpa lampu permukaan masing-masingsebanyak 6 kali ulangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 6 perlakuan,saling berpengaruh terhadap hasil tangkapan. Hasil Analysis of variance, kuris(Nemipterus japonicus) menggunakan lampu biru memiliki nilai 0,000<0,05. kuris(Nemipterus japonicus) menggunakan lampu berwarna putih memiliki nilai yangsama yaitu 0,000<0,05. Kombinasi penggunaan umpan dan lampu mendapatkanhasil 0,000> 0,05, nilai ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh perlakuan umpan danlampu terhadap hasil tangkapan. Hasil uji menunjukkan umpan alami kurisi(Nemipterus japonicus) dan lampu warna biru dan putih memiliki pengaruhterhadap hasil tangkapan pancing cumi. Pancing cumi menggunakan umpan alamikurisi (Nemipterus japonicus) dan lampu baik digunakan pada alat tangkap pancingcumi di perairan Karimunjawa.

on Catching Squid (Loligo sp.) in Karimunjawa Waters, Jepara, Central Java.

Karimunjawa waters have good capture fisheries potential and fishermen
are still catching fish to optimize existing fish resources. Many fishing gears are
operated in Karimunjawa waters to take advantage of their potential, one of which
is squid fishing rods. Squid fishing rods are the dominant fishing gear used by
Karimunjawa fishermen, Jepara. This fishing gear includes selective and
environmentally friendly fishing gear. This is due to its simple construction and
operation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using natural bait,
namely kurisi fish (Nemipterus japonicus) with different light colors namely blue
and white on the catch of squid (Loligo sp.) hand line fishing gear. The method used
was experimental fishing with 6 treatments, a total of 36 repetitions in 6 fishing
trips. Consists of treatment of chair (Nemipterus japonicus) blue LED with surface
light, chair (Nemipterus japonicus) blue LED without surface light, chair
(Nemipterus japonicus) white LED with surface light, chair (Nemipterus japonicus)
white LED without surface light, dummy bait without LED with surface light and
dummy bait without LED without surface light 6 replications each. The results of
this study indicate that of the 6 treatments, they mutually influence the catch. The
results of the Analysis of variance, chair (Nemipterus japonicus) using a blue light
has a value of 0.000 <0.05. chair (Nemipterus japonicus) using white lights has the
same value, namely 0.000 <0.05. The combination of using bait and lights produces
a result of 0.000 > 0.05, this value indicates the effect of bait and light treatment
on the catch. The test results showed natural bait chair (Nemipterus japonicus) and
blue and white lights had an effect on the catch of squid fishing rods. Squid fishing
using natural bait kurisi (Nemipterus japonicus) and lights are good for use in squid
fishing gear in Karimunjawa waters.
