Abstract

ABSTRAK
(Prasectio Ramadhan. 26010316140082. Analisis Bentuk Baku dan
Selektivitas Jaring Nila di Perairan Rawa Pening Kabupaten Semarang. Faik
Kurohman dan Kukuh Eko Prihantoko).
Jaring Nila merupakan alat tangkap yang terdiri dari pelampung dan
pemberat sehingga dapat dipasang dalam posisi tegak atau terentang. Ikan yang
tertangkap nantinya akan terjerat disekitar operculum-nya pada mata jaring,
sehingga termasuk kelompok Jaring Insang atau Gillnet. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah untuk menganalisis bentuk baku konstruksi Jaring Nila, jenis dan komposisi
ikan hasil tangkapan, distribusi frekuensi ukuran ikan tertangkap, dan tingkat
selektivitas Jaring Nila yang dioperasikan di Rawa Pening. Penelitian ini
menggunakan pendekatan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan studi kasus.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Bulan Oktober-November 2022 bersumber dari
3 (tiga) jenis Jaring Nila berbeda mesh size yaitu 2,5 inchi, 3 inchi dan 3,5 inchi.
Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi spesifikasi ukuran teknis jaring, jenis dan jumlah
ikan hasil tangkapan, serta ukuran ikan yang terdiri dari Total Length (TL), Tinggi
Badan (TB), dan bobot ikan. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif,
proporsi ikan hasil tangkapan, distribusi frekuensi ukuran ikan, indeks
keanekaragaman dan indeks dominansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
bentuk baku jaring adalah persegi panjang tanpa adanya tali ris bawah, tanpa
pelampung dan pemberat menggunakan kawat berbentuk lingkaran. Nilai hanging
ratio berkisar 0,22 – 0,75, nilai dt/mo 0,000225 - 0,00252, nilai Ss/h 0,49 – 2,18,
nilai S 33,48 – 90,13, dan nilai H 0,67 – 0,93. Jenis ikan tertangkap terdiri dari 6
(enam) jenis ikan dan ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) adalah jenis ikan dominan
tertangkap di semua ukuran jaring. Ukuran Total Length ikan tertangkap di setiap
ukuran jaring bervariasi. Pada jaring 2,5 inchi ukuran TL terbanyak tertangkap
adalah 17,4-18,4 cm, jaring 3 inchi adalah 19,4-20,4 cm dan jaring 3,5 inchi adalah
23,4-24,4 cm. Indeks Keanekaragaman di semua ukuran jaring adalah H’ < 1. Hal
ini menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman rendah dan selektivitas tinggi. Indeks
dominansi di semua ukuran jaring adalah C > 0,5. Hal ini bermakna bahwa
dominansi spesies hasil tangkapan tinggi dan selektivitas tinggi.

ABSTRACT

Tilapia Nets are fishing gear consisting of floats and weights so that they
can be installed in an upright or stretched position. Fish that are caught will later
become entangled around the operculum in the mesh, so that it is included in the
group of gill nets or gillnets. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
construction standard form of Tilapia Nets, the type and composition of fish caught,
the size frequency distribution of fish caught, and the selectivity level of Tilapia
Nets operated in Rawa Pening. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method
approach and case studies. Data collection was carried out in October-November
2022 sourced from 3 (three) types of Tilapia Nets with different mesh sizes, namely
2,5 inches, 3 inches and 3,5 inches. The data collected includes specifications for
the technical size of the nets, the type and number of fish caught, and the size of the
fish consisting of Total Length (TL), Body Height (TB), and fish weight. Data
analysis carried out was descriptive analysis, the proportion of fish caught, the
frequency distribution of fish size, diversity index and dominance index. The results
showed that the standard shape of the net was rectangular with no underside ropes,
no buoys and weights using circular wire. Hanging ratio values range from 0,22 –
0,75, dt/mo values 0,000225 – 0,00252, Ss/h values 0,49 – 2,18, S values 33,48 –
90,13, and H values 0,67 – 0,93. Types of fish caught consisted of 6 (six) species of
fish and Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) was the dominant type of fish caught in all
sizes of nets. The total length of fish caught in each size net varies. In 2.5-inch nets,
the most TL sizes caught were 17,4-18,4 cm, 3-inch nets were 19,4-20,4 cm and
3,5-inch nets were 23,4-24,4 cm. The diversity index for all net sizes is H' < 1. This
indicates that the diversity is low and the selectivity is high. The dominance index
for all net sizes is C > 0.5. This means that the dominance of the species caught is
high and the selectivity is high.
