Abstract

This study aims to find out how financial ratios affect the stock price of telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. The financial ratios in this study are: current ratio, total assets turnover, debt ratio and return on sales.
The population in this study are telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. The sample of this study is 12 (twelve) telecomunication companies which obtained by purposive sampling technique. This study used secondary data that obtained from the company's financial statements. The analytical method used multiple linear regression.
The results showed that 29.1% of the stock price formed in the market is influenced by the current ratio, total assets turnover, debt ratio and return on sales. Simultaneously the variables current ratio, total assets turnover, debt ratio and return on sales affect stock prices. While partially the current ratio and total assets turnover variables have a significant effect on stock prices and the debt ratio and return on sales variables have no significant effect on stock prices.
