Abstract

Palembang city is an area that has unique and diverse tourism objects. The city of Palembang
is the capital of the province of South Sumatra and the second largest city in Sumatra after Medan. The
diversity of tourist objects includes cultural diversity, culinary, panoramic beauty, architecture, industry,
and religion. Pelembang City is currently working on tourism development in order to support the
financing needs of regional autonomy. Various efforts have been made and various forums have been
established to manage tourism that is unique and unique, so that it can still be proud of and relied on for
environmental and cultural preservation as well as meeting budget requirements for the implementation
of regional autonomy. Unique tourism management specifically built by applying the theory of
collaborative governance with stakeholder involvement in the pentahelix model. The city of Palembang
whose visitation rate continues to decline. This is due to the lack of cooperation of all the actors
involved, the lack of promotion and the lack of facilities and infrastructure built. In this case, the efforts
of the local government, especially the Department of Culture and Tourism, are very important to
increase partnerships so that later they can increase tourist visits.
