Abstract

This research aims to design and produce a video story in English telling
"Crying Stone" to be used as a learning tool at Sudirman Junior High School.
The video production process includes pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The obstacles faced during the production process were long-distance communication with the production team, budget limitations, and the
team's lack of experience in animation. However, the results of implementing
this video at Sudirman Junior High School showed a positive response from
teachers, who considered this video effective in improving English
comprehension and moral values in legends. In conclusion, this research
successfully designed, produced, and implemented a storytelling video that is
expected to be an interesting and educational learning tool in schools. The video
is also expected to enrich students' learning experience by incorporating local
cultural traditions in English learning.
