Perairan Di Desa Sendang Sikucing, Kecamatan Rowosari, Kabupaten Kendal.

Pengembangan budidaya vaname terus dilakukan, salah satunya di wilayah
Kabupaten Kendal. Salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan pengembangan budidaya
adalah pemilihan lokasi yang sesuai. Analisa kesesuaian lahan menggunakan Sistem
Informasi Geografis dapat mengetahui kesesuaian lahan untuk peruntukannya. Sistem
ini dapat memberikan informasi data yang mendekati kondisi di lapangan untuk
pengelolaan wilayah dan pengembangan budidaya berdasarkan sebaran parameter
perairan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian dan luasan
lahan untuk budidaya vaname di Desa Sendang Sikucing, Kecamatan Rowosari,
Kabupaten Kendal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei
yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.
Metode survei dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data primer berupa data fisika�kimia perairan (oksigen terlarut, suhu, pH, salinitas, amonia, nitrit, nitrat, fosfat,
kedalaman dan kecerahan). Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam melakukan
pembobotan dan skoring nilai kesesuaian lahan menggunakan software Arcgis 10.8.
Penentuan lokasi sampling menggunakan metode purposive sampling.
Hasil pengukuran parameter perairan didapatkan oksigen terlarut berkisar
antara 5,9-7,4 mg/L, suhu 27,2-28,9 C, pH 7,67-8,39, salinitas 15-26 ppt, amonia 0,08-
0,6 mg/L, nitrit 0,015-2,03 mg/L, nitrat 1,1-4,3 mg/L, fosfat 0,19-2,96 mg/L,
kedalaman 70-120 cm, dan kecerahan 17-45 cm. Analisa kesesuaian lahan tambak
vaname di Desa Sendang Sikucing didapatkan luasan tambak dengan kategori S1
(sesuai) seluas 38,99 Ha dan tambak dengan kategori S2 (cukup sesuai) seluas 0,28 Ha
dari total luasan lahan 39,27 Ha. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa wilayah Desa Sendang
Sikucing dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan budidaya udang vaname.

Parameters of Waters in Sendang Sikucing Village, Rowosari District, Kendal

The development of vaname cultivation continues to be carried out, one of
which is in the Kendal Regency area. One of the determining factors for the success of
aquaculture development is the selection of an appropriate location. Land suitability
analysis using Geographic Information Systems can determine the suitability of land
for its designation. This system can provide data information that is close to conditions
in the field for area management and aquaculture development based on the
distribution of water parameters.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of suitability and land area
for vaname cultivation in Sendang Sikucing Village, Rowosari District, Kendal
Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method combined with a
quantitative approach.
The survey method was conducted to obtain primary data in the form of water
physico-chemical data (dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, salinity, ammonia, nitrite,
nitrate, phosphate, depth and brightness). A quantitative approach is used in weighting
and scoring land suitability values using Arcgis 10.8 software. Determination of the
sampling location using purposive sampling method.
The results of the measurement of water parameters obtained dissolved oxygen
ranging from 5.9-7.4 mg/L, temperature 27.2-28.9 C, pH 7.67-8.39, salinity 15-26 ppt,
ammonia 0.08- 0.6 mg/L, nitrite 0.015-2.03 mg/L, nitrate 1.1-4.3 mg/L, phosphate
0.19-2.96 mg/L, depth 70-120 cm, and brightness 17 -45 cm. Analysis of land suitability
for vaname ponds in Sendang Sikucing Village found that the area of the pond with the
S1 category (appropriate) was 38.99 Ha and the pond with the S2 category (fairly
suitable) was 0.28 Ha out of a total land area of 39.27 Ha. This shows that the Sendang
Sikucing Village area can be used for the development of vaname shrimp cultivation.
