ABSTRAK
Zallva Arsyta Hartanto. 26010118120006. Analisis Biokonsentrasi Logam
Berat Timbal (Pb) pada Mangrove (Avicennia marina) di Perairan Mangunharjo,
Kota Semarang (Agus Hartoko dan Haeruddin)
Perairan Mangunharjo diketahui telah tercemar logam berat timbal (Pb)
serta memiliki kawasan mangrove yang luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui konsentrasi logam berat Pb pada air, sedimen, dan tumbuhan
mangrove Avicennia marina serta menentukan faktor biokonsentrasi logam berat
Pb pada mangrove A. marina yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2022 di Perairan
Mangunharjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei
dengan analisis kuantitatif. Penentuan stasiun secara purposive random sampling
dengan mempertimbangkan sumber pencemaran logam berat, jarak stasiun
dengan kegiatan manusia yang diduga menimbulkan cemaran logam berat, dan
keberadaan tumbuhan mangrove. Sampel tumbuhan mangrove A. marina
dibedakan menjadi tiga kategori ukuran diameter batang yaitu ukuran semai (3 – 8
cm), anakkan (6 – 15 cm), dan pohon (11 – 23 cm). Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan
untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh ukuran mangrove A. marina
terhadap konsentrasi logam berat Pb di dalam jaringan tumbuhan mangrove.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Pengukuran konsentrasi
logam berat menggunakan AAS (Atomic Absroption Sceptrophotometer) dengan
metode destruksi basah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi logam
berat Pb pada air berkisar 0,672 – 0,867 mg/L, pada sedimen berkisar 56,50 –
65,96 mg/kg, dan pada mangrove A. marina berkisar 6,209 – 24,883 mg/kg.
Faktor biokonsentrasi logam berat Pb berkisar antara 0,185 – 0,227, sehingga
mangrove A. marina disebut tumbuhan excluder untuk logam berat Pb.

Mangunharjo waters are known to have been polluted by heavy metal
lead (Pb) and have large mangrove area. This study aims to determine the
concentration of heavy metal Pb in water, sediment, and mangrove plants and to
determine the bioconcentration factor of heavy metal Pb in mangrove A. marina
which was conducted in January 2022 in Mangunharjo waters. The method used
in this research was survey method with quantitative analysis. Determination of
the station by using purposive random sampling method by considering the source
of heavy metal pollution, the distance between the station and human activities
suspected of causing heavy metal contamination, and the presence of mangrove
plants. The samples of A. marina mangroves were divided into three categories of
stem diameter, namely small (3 – 8 cm), medium (6 – 15 cm), and large (11 – 23
cm). Quantitative analysis was conducted to determine whether the size of the
mangrove A. marina has an effect on the concentration of heavy metal Pb in the
mangrove plant tissue. Measurement of heavy metal concentrations using AAS
(Atomic Absroption Sceptrophotometry). The results showed that the
concentration of heavy metal Pb in water ranged from 0.672 - 0.867 mg/L, in
sediments it ranged from 56.50 – 65.96 mg/kg, and in mangroves A. marina
ranged from 6.209 – 24,883 mg/kg. The bioconcentration factor of heavy metal
Pb ranges from 0.185 to 0.227, so that the mangrove A. marina is called an
excluder plant for heavy metal Pb.
