Abstract

RINGKASAN
Rizki Shalsa Nabila. 260 401 181 301 10. Logam Berat Kadmium (Cd) Pada Air,
Sedimen, dan Lamun Thalassia hemprichii di Pulau Kelapa Dua, Taman Nasional
Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta. (Suryono dan Rini Pramesti)
Pulau Kelapa Dua merupakan pulau berpenduduk dan salah satu destinasi
wisata di Taman Nasional Kepulauan Seribu. Pulau ini dimanfaatkan sebagai
tempat wisata bahari, budidaya perikanan, kegiatan penelitian, penangkaran penyu
hijau, dan lain sebagainya. Banyaknya aktivitas manusia di wilayah ini berpotensi
menjadi sumber pencemaran, salah satunya logam berat Cd. Kadmium (Cd) bersifat
toksik dan dapat terakumulasi di dalam tubuh organisme dalam jangka waktu yang
lama. Keberadaan lamun di perairan dapat dijadikan sebagai bioindikator karena
mampu menyerap dan mengakumulasi logam berat. Tujuan penelitian ini
mengetahui konsentrasi logam berat Cd di air, sedimen, dan lamun Thalassia
hemprichii (akar dan daun). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2021.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksploratif. Pengambilan
sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Analisis logam berat Cd pada sampel
menggunakan AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry) dan analisis data yang
dilakukan meliputi faktor biokonsentrasi (BCF) dan faktor translokasi (TF). Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi logam berat di air berkisar <0,01-<0,03 ppm,
di sedimen tidak terdeteksi-0,01 ppm, di akar 0,10-0,13 ppm, dan di daun 0,07-0,22
ppm. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan konsentrasi logam berat Cd
di lokasi penelitian, pada air dan lamun sudah melebihi nilai baku mutu yang
ditetapkan (Peraturan Pemerintah No. 22 Tahun 2021), sedangkan konsentrasi
logam berat Cd di sedimen masih di bawah baku mutu yang sudah ditetapkan
(mengacu pada ANZECC, 1997).

Sediment, and Seagrass Thalassia hemprichii on Kelapa Dua Island, Thousand
Islands National Park, Jakarta. (Suryono and Rini Pramesti)
Kelapa Dua Island is a populated island and one of the tourist destinations
in the Thousand Islands National Park. This island is used as a place for marine
tourism, aquaculture, research activities, green turtle breeding, and so on. The
abundance of human activities in this area has the potential to be a source of
pollution, one of which is the heavy metal Cd. Cadmium (Cd) is toxic and can be
accumulated in the body of organisms for a long time. The presence of seagrass in
the waters can be used as a bioindicator because it can absorb and accumulate
heavy metals. The purpose of this study is to determine the concentration of heavy
metal Cd in water, sediment, and the seagrass Thalassia hemprichii (roots and
leaves). The research was conducted in November 2021. The research method used
was an exploratory survey. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Analysis of
heavy metal Cd in the sample used AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry)
and the data analysis performed included bioconcentration factors (BCF) and
translocation factors (TF). The results showed that the concentration of heavy
metals in water ranged from <0.01-<0.03 ppm, in sediments undetected -0.01 ppm,
in roots 0.10-0.13 ppm, and in leaves 0.07-0. 22 ppm. Based on the results of the
study, it can be concluded that the concentration of heavy metal Cd at the research
site, in water and seagrass has exceeded the specified quality standard value
(Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021), meanwhile the concentration of heavy
metal Cd in the sediment is still below the established quality standard (referring
to ANZECC, 1997).
