(Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus) di Waduk Jatibarang, Semarang (Abdul Ghofar
dan Churun Ain)
Waduk Jatibarang merupakan salah satu waduk yang dibangun oleh
pemerintah di Kota Semarang yang memiliki berbagai jenis ikan air tawar, salah
satunya yaitu ikan sapu-sapu (Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus). Tujuan dari penelitian
ini yaitu untuk mengkaji aspek biologi dan aspek reproduksi dari ikan sapu-sapu di
Waduk Jatibarang. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret Mei 2022. Metode
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif. Metode pengambilan
sampel dilakukan dengan metode penarikan contoh acak sederhana (simple random
sampling) melalui hasil tangkapan penangkap ikan yang kemudian ikan yang
berhasil didapatkan disensus, yaitu semua populasi dijadikan sebagai bahan
penelitian. Aspek pertumbuhan yang diperoleh selama penelitian yaitu hubungan
panjang-berat dengan kisaran panjang ikan 24 44,5 cm dan berat 113 540 gram.
Hubungan panjang berat ikan sapu-sapu bersifat alometrik negatif. Faktor kondisi
ikan sapu-sapu yaitu 1,062 di mana ikan sapu-sapu yang tertangkap bertubuh
kurang pipih. Nilai Lc50% 388,72 mm dan nilai Lm50% yaitu 298,09 mm, di mana
nilai Lc (length of first captured) > Lm (length of first mature). Aspek reproduksi
dilihat dari tingkat kematangan gonad (TKG) ikan jantan dan betina didominasi
oleh TKG IV. Ikan Sapu-sapu di Waduk Jatibarang dapat memijah sepanjang tahun.
Nilai IKG rata-rata ikan betina yaitu 0,44%, sedangkan nilai IKG rata-rata ikan
jantan yaitu 0,22%. Kisaran fekunditas ikan yaitu 52.333 - 168.143 butir telur, serta
rasio kelamin yaitu 1,12 : 1 di mana nilai tersebut dapat dikatakan seimbang.

Jatibarang Reservoir is one of the reservoirs built by the government in
Semarang City which has various types of freshwater fish, such as vermiculated
sailfin catfish (Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus). The purpose of this study was to
determine the biological and reproductive aspects of vermiculated sailfin catfish in
the Jatibarang Reservoir. The research was conducted in March May 2022. The
method used in this research is descriptive method. The sampling method was
carried out using a simple random sampling method through the catch of fish, which
was then successfully obtained in a census, that is, all populations were used as
research material. Aspects of growth obtained during the study is the relationship
between length with a fish length range of 24 44,5 cm and a weight of 113 - 540
gr. The relationship between the length and weight of vermiculated sailfin catfish
is negative allometric. The condition factor is 1,062 where vermiculated sailfin
catfish caught are less flat. The Lc50% value is 388,72 mm and the Lm50% value is
298,09 mm, where the Lc (length at first captured) > Lm (length at first mature).
The reproductive aspect of the gonadal maturity level (TKG) of male and female
fish is dominated by TKG IV. Vermiculated sailfin catfish in Jatibarang Reservoir
can spawn all year round. The average IKG value of female fish is 0,44%, while of
male fish is 0,22%. The range of fish fecundity is 52.333 168.143 eggs, and sex
ratio is 1,12: 1 where this value can be balanced.
