Tatih Dewantoro. 26050117140033. Distribusi Sedimen di Pantai Seribu Ranting,
Kecamatan Kedung, Kabupaten Jepara, Jawa Tengah. (Agus Anugroho Dwi
Suryoputro dan Heryoso).
Pantai Seribu Ranting merupakan pantai yang wilayahnya berada di Kecamatan
Kedung Kabupaten Jepara Jawa Tengah. Pantai Seribu Ranting memiliki peran
penting bagi penduduk sekitar di sana seperti untuk menangkap ikan, tempat
tinggal dan menjadi area wisata. Salah satu masalah yang terjadi di Pantai Seribu
Ranting adalah sedimentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
distribusi sedimen di Pantai Seribu Ranting. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan
Februari 2022. Hasil penelitian ini tentang sedimen dasar di Pantai Seribu Ranting
Jepara menunjukkan jenis sedimen dasar yaitu pasir, lanau, lanau pasiran, pasir
lanauan. Dominasi jenis sedimen di Pantai Seribu Ranting merupakan pasir. Hasil
parameter ukuran butir dapat diketahui bahwa distribusi sedimen di daerah Pantai
Seribu Ranting dipengaruhi oleh arus. Dimana arus mampu memilah ukuran butir
yang halus. Tipe pasang surut di pantai Seribu Ranting pada bulan Februari 2022
adalah tipe pasang surut campuran condong ke harian ganda.

Seribu Ranting Beach is a beach whose area is located in Kedung District, Jepara
Regency, Central Java. Seribu Ranting Beach has an important role for the
surrounding residents there such as to catch fish, a place to live and become a
tourist area. One of the problems that occurs on the Seribu Ranting Beach is
sedimentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of
sediments on the Seribu Ranting Beach. This research was conducted in February
2022. The results of this study on bottom sediments at Seribu Ranting Beach Jepara
show the types of bottom sediments, namely sand, silt, sand silt, silt sand. The
predominance of sediment species on the Seribu Ranting Beach is sand. The results
of the grain size parameters can be known that the distribution of sediment in the
area of the Seribu Ranting Coast is affected by currents. Where the current is able
to sort out the size of smooth grains. The tidal type on the Seribu Ranting beach in
February 2022 is a mixed tidal type leaning towards a double daily.
