Dok PT Tegal Shipyard Utama adalah salah satu tempat reparasi kapal yang ada di
Kota Tegal. Perbedaan tingkat kerusakan pada kapal yang akan melakukan reparasi
dapat memicu terjadinya antrian dalam proses perbaikan di Dok PT Tegal Shipyard
Utama, Tegal. Lamanya waktu dan proses antrian tersebut dapat mempengaruhi
tingkat kepuasan para pemilik kapal dan tentu saja berpengaruh pula pada
produktivitas galangan. Dengan demikian perlu dilakukan upaya peningkatan
teknologi yang dapat memperbaiki mekanisme reparasi kapal dan memperpendek
waktu reparasi kapal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat kontribusi
dari masing-masing konponen teknologi (technoware, humanware, infoware, dan
orgaware); dan menganalisis penerapan teknologi galangan kapal di Dok PT Tegal
Shipyard Utama, Tegal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
metode deskriptif sedangkan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode
Teknometrik berdasarkan acuan yang dikeluarkan oleh UNESCAP (United Nations
Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) tahun 1989. UNESCAP
menyatakan bahwa teknologi merupakan kombinasi antara empat komponen
pembentuk teknologi yaitu technoware, humanware, infoware, dan orgaware yang
saling terkait satu sama lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kontribusi
komponen teknologi (technoware, humanware, infoware, dan orgaware) secara
berturut-turut yaitu 0,6858, 0,8123, 0,8370, dan 0,9722. Nilai intensitas kontribusi
komponen teknologi (technoware, humanware, infoware, dan orgaware) secara
berturut-turut yaitu 0,4995, 0,2884, 0,0655, dan 0,1465. Nilai TCC sebesar 0,77
yang menunjukkan bahwa teknologi yang diterapkan oleh Dok PT Tegal Shipyard
Utama, Tegal adalah modern.

Dock PT Tegal Shipyard Utama is one of the ship repair places in Tegal City.
Differences in the level of damage to ships that will carry out repairs can trigger
queues in the repair process at Dock PT Tegal Shipyard Utama, Tegal. The length
of time and the queuing process can affect the satisfaction level of ship owners and
of course also affect productivity. Thus it is necessary to make efforts to improve
technology that can repair ships and shorten ship repair time. The purpose of this
study was to analyze the level of contribution of each technology component
(technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware); and the application of
shipyard technology at Dock PT Tegal Shipyard Utama, Tegal. The method used
in this research is a descriptive method of data processing management carried out
by the technometric method based on the references issued by UNESCAP (United
Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) in 1989.
UNESCAP states that technology is a combination of the four components that
make up technology technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware are
interrelated. The results showed that the value of the contribution of technology
components (technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware) were 0,6858,
0,8123, 0,8370, and 0,9722 respectively. The intensity values of technology
components (technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware) were 0,4995,
0,2884, 0,0655, and 0,1465, respectively. The TCC value is 0,77 which indicates
that the technology applied by the shipyard Dock PT Tegal Shipyard Utama, Tegal
is modern.
