Abstract

This research was created to make a story book that aims to educate children
through the story book "CREATING STORYBOOK ABOUT BULLYING FOR
GRADES 5 & 6 AT AL AZHAR 28 SOLO BARU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" by
educating students about character education. Picture story books will make
elementary school students interested and motivated to increase their interest in
reading. The finding of the idea for a storybook containing content about bullying
comes from cases of bullying among students in Indonesia which are still ongoing.
This storybook tells about elementary school students from underprivileged
families who are economically bullied by their schoolmates. Through this research,
researchers hope to be able to reduce bullying cases in Indonesia so that students
are aware of the causes and effects of bullying on others. The research and
development of this product uses the method according to Sugiyono, and the
product results are obtained by giving questionnaires to experts and teachers to
show products that can educate an elementary school student.
