Abstract

Kebutuhan pangan semakin berkembang seiring bertambahnya jumlah populasi manusia. Penerimaan teknologi menggunakan faktor-faktor pada model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT).

As the human population grows, there is a greater demand for food. This circumstance will exert strain on the food supply. Using intensification approaches such as minapadi is one way to achieve these requirements. Minapadi is an old approach, but it has not been widely used; thus, exploring the elements that can encourage farmers' adoption of this method is vital. Minapadi in Sleman district of Yogyakarta is used as a research site since it has become a pilot location in Indonesia. The minapadi technique must also be eco-friendly. In Samberembe, a village in Sleman, biological, physical, and chemical water quality parameters are measured as part of the minapadi verification procedure as an environmentally friendly technology. This study aims to determine water quality due to the minapadi method and develop a minapadi technology acceptance model based on minapadi in Sleman Yogyakarta. Mainly studying and analyzing the impact of the minapadi method on water quality, the characteristics of minapadi technology in Sleman Regency, the minapadi technology acceptance model and the factors that influence the acceptance of minapadi technology. The components of the Unified Theory of Acceptability and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model are utilized to measure technology acceptance. The investigated variables included Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Condition, Environmental Concern, Behaviour Intention, and Use Behavior. Gender, Age, Experience, and Voluntary Contributions are moderating factors. Measurement and evaluation of the model utilizing the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. Farmers familiar with the minapadi method are surveyed using the questionnaire. The water quality values are subject to chemical change at any time, whereas Saprobic Index (SI) and Trophic Saprobic Index (TSI) fall between 0.1 and 1.7. Use behavior is governed by Behavioral Intention, and facilitating conditions. The elements of experience, performance expectancy, and social influence all influence behavioral intention. The facilitating condition had the most impact on the Use behavior variable, with a coefficient of 0.394. Performance expectancy significantly impacts behavioral intention, with a coefficient of 0.403.
