Abstract

The conceptual and philosophical basis of conflict, it is hidden that conflict is something that cannot be avoided in human life. Conflict and its connection with the context of the struggle carried out by various parties to obtain value, status, authority and authority by two or more parties which are basically inconsistent in purpose and as a struggle, are interpreted as facts of life that cannot be avoided in the process of social dynamics of society. Since the colonial era until the reform era, there have been conflicts in the form of sabotage of people's rights to natural resources in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. It becomes a reflection for the progress of this nation, through the manifestation of the presence of agrarian conflict problems that are still happening in this nation, especially what is happening in the regional sector in Indonesia, especially the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Using descriptive descriptive research methods with conflict theory and political ecology, this research will reveal a connection, where agrarian conflict becomes a complex problem when we talk about the dynamics of existing conflicts and the authority of local governments - the actors involved. The research results show that agrarian conflicts will continue to exist in society. Not only the conflict of interest factor, but the presence of the sultan ground policy became the center point of the problems and dynamics that occurred to be reviewed in an implementative manner.

Keywords : agrarian conflict, sultan ground, conflict of interest, authority.
