Abstract

RINGKASAN
Muhammad Ari Kusuma. 26020117130047. Pengaruh Asam Amino Lisin pada
Pakan Buatan Terhadap Efisiensi Pemanfaatan Pakan, Pertumbuhan dan
Kelulushidupan Benih Ikan Baung (Mystus nemurus) (Diana Rachmawati dan
Sarjito)
Ikan baung (Mystus nemurus) merupakan salah satu ikan air tawar ekonomis
penting. Budidaya ikan baung masih memiliki kendala berupa tingkat
metabolisme asam lemak rantai panjang ketersediaan energi non protein semakin
Pemberian pakan
dilakukan dengan metode at satiation.
mampu menghasilkan RGR (2,87%/hari), TKP (881,59g), EPP (80,39%), PER
(1,97) dan FCR (1,63).

SUMMARY
Muhammad Ari Kusuma. 26020117130047. Effect of Amino Acid Lysine to
Artificial Feed on Feed Utilization Efficiency, Growth and Survival of Bagrid
catfish (Mystus nemurus) Seed (Diana Rachmawati and Sarjito)
Bagrid catfish (Mystus nemurus) is one of the economically important
freshwater fish. Bagrid catfish farming still has obstacles in the form of a slow
growth rate which can take up to 1 year to reach marketable size. One way to
increase the growth of bagrid catfish is to increase the quality of the available feed
through the addition of lysine to the feed. Lysine plays a role in the formation of
carnitine which is a carrier compound for long-chain fatty acids. Increased
metabolism of long-chain fatty acids increases the availability of non-protein
energy and energy from protein is used optimally for growth. This study aimed to
determine the effect and optimum dose of the addition of lysine in artificial feed
on the efficiency of feed utilization, growth, and survival of bagrid catfish (M.
nemurus). The test fish used in the study were bagrid catfish with an average
weight of 43,6±4,62g. This research was conducted at the Balai Perbenihan Ikan
Air Tawar Ngrajek, Magelang, Central Java in June - August 2021. Feeding is
done by at satiation method. During the study, water quality in the maintenance
media for bagrid catfish has met the eligibility requirements. This study used an
experimental method, completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4
treatments and three replications. The treatments applied were treatments A, B, C,
and D, respectively, with the addition of lysine of 0%, 0,6%, 1,2%, and 1,8%/kg
of feed. The results showed that the addition of lysine had a significant effect
(P<0.05) on RGR, TKP, EPP, PER, and FCR but had no significant effect on
survival. The optimum dose of lysine addition is 1,05%; 1,09%; 1,14%; 1,13%
and 1,17%/kg feed were able to produce RGR (2,87%/day), TKP (881,59g), EPP
(80,39%), PER (1,97) and FCR (1,63).
