(Litopenaeus vannamei) (Vivi Endar Herawati dan Subandiyono)
Udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu komoditas
yang sangat diminati di masyarakat dan menjadi komoditas unggulan di bidang
budidaya perikanan yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan produksinya. Pakan
memegang peran penting dalam proses produksi udang vaname dimana pakan
menyerap 60-70% total biaya produksi. Meningkatnya permintaan dan tingginya
harga bahan baku pakan udang diperlukan bahan alternatif yang murah, tersedia
dalam jumlah banyak, dan memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang baik. Tepung limbah
pembuatan bioetanol merupakan bahan samping yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi
yang baik meliputi protein 32%, lemak 10%, 11% serat kasar, yang dapat dijadikan
sebagai bahan baku alternatif dalam pakan udang vaname.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung
limbah pembuatan bioetanol pada pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan udang
vaname (L. vannamei); dan mengetahui dosis optimum penggunaan tepung limbah
pembuatan bioetanol dalam pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan udang vaname ( L. vannamei).
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, rancangan acak lengkap
(RAL) yang terdiri atas 4 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan
adalah perlakuan A, B, C, dan D yang masing-masing dengan penggunaan tepung
limbah pembuatan bioetanol 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15%/kg pakan. Ikan uji yang
digunakan adalah udang vaname dengan bobot rata -rata 1,06±0,005 gram. Udang
dipelihara dalam jaring apung berukuran (3x2x1) m3
yang diletakkan pada bak
berukuran (25x10) m2
dengan kedalaman air 90 cm. Lama pemeliharaan selama 80
hari dengan padat tebar 720 ekor/KJA.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung limbah
pembuatan bioetanol berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap TKP, FCR, EPP,
panjang mutlak, bobot mutlak, SGR dan kelulushidupan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut
didapatkan dosis optimum dari penggunaan DDGS adalah berkisar 13.62 -19.46%/bobot pakan mampu menghasilkan TKP (13,850 gram), FCR (1.48), EPP
(68.27%), panjang mutlak (8.388 cm), bobot mutlak (15.144 gram), SGR
(3.408%/hari), dan SR (87.095%).

Production in Artificial Feed on the Growth of Pasific White Shrimp (Litopenaeus
vannamei) (Vivi Endar Herawati and Subandiyono)
Pasific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is a commodity that is in great
demand in the community and has become a leading commodity in the field of
aquaculture, which can be seen from the increase in its production. Feed plays an
important role in the pasific white shrimp production process where feed absorbs
60-70% of the total production cost. The increasing demand and the high price of
raw materials for shrimp feed require alternative materials that are cheap, available
in large quantities, and have good nutritional content. Waste flour for bioethanol
production is a by-product that has good nutritional content including 32% protein,
10% fat, 11% crude fiber, which can be used as alternative raw materials in vaname
shrimp feed.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of waste
flour from the manufacture of bioethanol in artificial feed on the growth of pasific
white shrimp (L. vannamei); and to determine the optimum dose of using waste
flour from the manufacture of bioethanol in artificial f eed on the growth of pasific
white shrimp (L. vannamei).
This study used an experimental method, completely randomized design
(CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments applied were
treatments A, B, C, and D, each of which used 0% , 5%, 10%, and 15%/kg feed
bioethanol waste flour. The test fish used were pacific white shrimp with an average
weight of 1.06±0.005 grams. Shrimp were reared in floating nets measuring
(3x2x1) m3
which were placed in a tub measuring (25x10) m2
with a water depth
of 90 cm. The length of maintenance is 80 days with a stocking density of 720 fish/KJA.
The results showed that the use of waste flour from bioethanol production
had a significant effect (P<0.05) on TKP, FCR, EPP, absolute length, absolute
weight, SGR and survival rate. Based on these results, it was found that the
optimum dose of using DDGS was in the range of 13.62-19.46%/weight of feed
capable of producing TKP (13.850 grams), FCR (1.48), EPP (68.27%), absolute
length (8.388 cm), absolute weight ( 15.144 grams). , SGR (3.408%/day), and SR
(87.095%).
